Pecan Plantation Mobile Home Reviews
When I read reviews, I keep the open mind that a lot of negative reviews are just people griping about either something small, overreacting or misunderstanding, or maybe they didn't get their way.I almost signed a lease here. And I am glad I didn't. My final interaction with Mr. Peters was well beyond all I needed to keep me from signing a contract and having to deal with that for a year. The level of disrespect and attitude he gave me on the phone was nothing short of obnoxious. He validated most of these other negative reviews in a matter of minutes.Stay away from this place!
Mar 20, 2024 · PM McThis place starts off friendly to get you in, decent lot rent with pecans, covered pool, very nice neighborhood. The only thing it's missing is a respectful, professional, business owner(s). Sarcasm is NOT good for any business when dealing with someone place of living. I wouldn't so much say things could get better, I believe if someone cared about the business they are running, they should also respect and care about the people who are assisting with helping them grow the business. I'm not pulling a racist card, but I don't want to feel as if I am living on a plantation, with owners who feel as if they can treat or talk to the people who help them.
Mar 14, 2020 · Shanell AdamsThe owners are extremely rude and lack respect towards their tenants. Not trying to pull the racist card but that seems to be the issue in many encounters. I advise no one to move here unless you want to be told what to do and not do on a daily basis. The owners are ugly individuals who treat people as if they have no say in anything. If you want a place where you’re going to yelled at and belittled then this is the perfect place for that.
Jul 17, 2019 · Nora LynnIn the 7 years I've lived here I've always had issues with the landlord....Never conduct buisness with Carol Peter's shes a very unpleasant person, shes racist, and flat out unprofessional if you must conduct business here ask for BOB PETERS ONLY. pool is never open or clean regardless of what the lease states &other than having the most affordable lots in the central tx location there is nothing you're missing out on here. The list of bad reviews says it all DONT BRING BUISNESS HERE SAVE YOUR SANITY AND MONEY !
Apr 28, 2022 · Juanita OlivaresDo not rent from this guy! He seems nice at first but this has been my biggest waste of time and waste of money I think I have ever had in my entire life. We paid a 350 pet deposit and sadly not even a month later are small breed got sick and passed. We weren't even interested In getting another puppy until our daughter was spending 30 to 45min crying herself to sleep over her puppy. We had a friend giving away dogs that needed a good home so we decided to adopt her. Although she is a different breed it was our mistake not to communicate this with Bob. We have had alot of issues with the beat down mobile home he rented to us 2 months ago, the shelving In the closets are not sturdy there were problems with the roof and walls and under the sinks look like termites was eating at them not to mention I can't even put food in my pantry without insects getting into everything, above all the the worst thing is there were holes under the carpet under the ground that were in my young daughters room. We notice one apon moving in but did not notice the huge one because it was under our daughters play pen. They came in one Friday morning to fix it and say the house was messy (I have a full time job where I work.every time cook everything at home and 3 kids under 5 so I don't clean spotless everyday but I do clean) well after he saw the new dog and the house he called my roommate cussing at him, then hanging up on him and even set up a meeting to talk in the morning and ignored his calls and making him wait outside for 30min completely trying to ignore him. When they finally talk he is very unprofessional the entire time and never letting him put a word in. Of course we decide to just go ahead and move out after being treated this way, and he wants us to move in 2 days! Are you joking? So I call him and try to figure out how to get the lease enuled and tell him.theres no possible way I can move out in 2 days especially because I have a benefit going on this weekend for a family of a co worker of mine that passed in the fire. He just goes on to tell me well when can I be out and I live pay check to pay check and just got done taking out loans to move in here. I regret it and will just warn all of you that you do not want to rent from a man like this. The house was not cleaned or kept nice by previous owners and was in pretty rough shape apon moving in, (we have pictures). The carpet was already torn and you can tell there was not much done to it after the other tenants left, we didn't complain much because we do alot of work ourselves and we thought he was a nice friendly old man so we didn't want to complain. Don't be fooled, some.of the people living here warned us about how he was but it was hard to believe at 1st. Kinda wish I listened now.most unprofessional experience I have ever had with anyone.
