Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals
Palm View RV Park & Campground offers a suitable option for California locals for several compelling reasons, particularly for those residing in the southern part of the state. Firstly, its strategic location in Perris makes it remarkably accessible from major population centers like Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Inland Empire. This means that even for a spontaneous weekend trip, locals can quickly get to a natural setting without enduring hours of driving. The convenience of being able to escape the city and immerse oneself in a quieter environment within a relatively short travel time is a significant advantage for busy Californians.
Secondly, the park's proximity to a wealth of outdoor recreational opportunities aligns perfectly with the active California lifestyle. With Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, and Lake Perris all nearby, locals have easy access to boating, fishing, paddleboarding, swimming, and hiking. For those who own RVs, Palm View provides a practical home base for exploring these natural gems repeatedly throughout the year. This consistent access to outdoor activities, coupled with the potential for more affordable long-term stays compared to traditional housing, makes it an attractive proposition for retirees, digital nomads, or families looking for extended getaways.
Lastly, while reviews highlight a mixed bag of experiences, the park aims to cultivate a community atmosphere and provides fundamental amenities that RVers need. The presence of a pool, laundry facilities, and a mini-market adds a layer of convenience that can enhance a stay. For locals, understanding that some aspects of the park might be rustic or require patience with maintenance issues, the overall value proposition—a quiet, pet-friendly spot with full hookups and access to nature at a potentially lower cost—can outweigh the drawbacks. It’s a place for Californians who prioritize outdoor access and a relaxed environment over luxury amenities, seeking a straightforward and convenient RV experience in their own backyard.

Palm View RV Park & Campground Reviews
Great quiet place wish we could have stayed longer. Pool, laundry, pretty walks, new owners lovely.
Apr 09, 2025 · Wendi SmithWish I could give zero stars. This place is run down, roads are barely maintained. One laundry machine that often is full of animal hair and cigarette butts. Disorderly tenants that are alcoholics. The managers are wack jobs that have no idea how to run a park. They will give you random electricity bills without telling you what the rate is. None of the meters work properly. Just avoid this place at all costs! So many laws have been disregarded when it comes to tenants rights. You won’t even know who your actual landlord is. On top off all that the trees are way overgrown and drop all kinds of mess on your trailer causing damage. Once again avoid this place at all costs.
Apr 28, 2025 · Adam SilvaThis place is a joke. People are being robbed 100% for the price of rent vs. the quality of this place.I called a while back askin how much they charge for monthly rent. Was told $950. If it's 1k a month to stay here, I thought "oh this place must be nice".... Oh I was so wrong.Came by the other morning to get information about staying here. Didn't realize they don't open until 12pm. Which is pretty late if you're trying to run a business but whatever. So I parked and looked around the park. Now that I found a different nice park to stay at... I felt obligated to let people know that this place is a complete garbage dump. It looks like tenants take good care of their spots but the park is a disaster. There is a fenced off playground area with a literal homeless encampment in it. It's not a specified tent site. It's just homeless people in a nasty tent living right by a playground. So dangerous. Instead of a community room, like every single other RV park in the country I've been to has, they have a church. It's like the first thing you see when you get there. They have more signs advertising the church than the park. Big custom signs for the church but just some ugly spray paint on a rock to tell you where the park is. How off putting for non religious people. Made me uncomfortable tbh. Then I walked over to what I found out they consider a "laundry room". It's a joke. It's literally 1 washing machine and a bunch of broken machines everywhere. I've never even stayed here and you can tell that whoever owns this place, obviously doesn't put ANY money back into it .. so sad.Like what are they charging 1k a month for? The square of dirt? That's insane.Ps. I kept this anonymous Incase I ever absolutely have to stay here for a night or 2 in a pinch haDo yourself a favor if you have to stay near Lake Elsinore, go to Launchepointe! For only $150 more than this place, you get restaraunt included, boat launch and beach included, pool 24hrs, full laundromat, rec room, weekend concerts and activities, it's not covered in dirt ha, and it's so peaceful.
