For prospective residents in East Alabama, it's crucial to approach this decision with a full understanding of what a mobile home park provides. This address places the park within the city limits of Opelika, a vibrant and growing city in Lee County, East Alabama. Opelika's location offers a blend of small-town charm with convenient access to larger urban amenities. The park's position on Walnut Avenue suggests it is within a residential or semi-residential area of the city.
Accessibility to the park from major thoroughfares in Opelika is generally straightforward, though specific road conditions within the park itself should be noted, as they have been a point of concern for some residents. Being in Opelika means residents have access to a wide array of local conveniences. Tiger Town, a large retail and dining complex, is typically just a short drive away, offering extensive shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment options. For those affiliated with higher education or looking for cultural and sporting events, Auburn University is conveniently located nearby, typically within a 15-20 minute drive. This proximity can be a significant draw for students, faculty, or staff seeking more affordable housing options. Additionally, Opelika itself boasts parks, schools, and local businesses that contribute to the community's overall appeal. While the general location is advantageous for accessing city amenities, potential residents are encouraged to thoroughly inspect the specific lot and internal infrastructure, such as walkways, to ensure they meet personal safety and aesthetic standards.
Opelika Mobile Home Park, like many mobile home communities, is structured around providing residents with essential living spaces and the basic infrastructure required for mobile homes. Based on the available information, the primary service offered is the provision of mobile home lots for rent.
- Mobile Home Lot Rentals: The core service of the park involves leasing plots of land where residents can place their mobile homes. This typically includes connections for utilities.
- Utility Connections: Standard mobile home park services usually include access to necessary utility hookups such as water, electricity, and sewage.
- Landlord/Management Interaction: Residents interact with the landlord or management regarding rent payments and any issues that arise.
- Accessibility to Your Home: Residents generally have the convenience of parking directly at their mobile home.
It is important to note that specific services such as maintenance and rule enforcement have been subjects of feedback, with residents indicating a desire for more consistent application. Prospective residents should inquire directly with management regarding the specifics of maintenance protocols, utility billing (e.g., whether water, sewer, or trash are included in lot rent), and how community rules are enforced to ensure clarity.
Opelika Mobile Home Park, as a residential community, offers a place for individuals and families to establish a home. While specific recreational amenities were not highlighted in the provided public data, general features of mobile home park living are typically present.
- Individual Mobile Home Lots: The park provides dedicated lots for mobile homes, offering residents their own defined space.
- Community Environment: Living in a mobile home park inherently fosters a community environment, where neighbors share common spaces and experiences.
- Potential for Affordability: Mobile home living often presents a more cost-effective housing solution compared to traditional site-built homes or some apartment complexes in the same area.
- Proximity to City Amenities: Located in Opelika, residents have convenient access to the city’s resources, including shopping centers (like Tiger Town), dining options, schools, and medical facilities.
- Access to Auburn University: The park’s location makes it a viable option for those connected to Auburn University, offering a potentially more affordable living arrangement near campus.
- "All is welcomed" Atmosphere (as perceived by some): One reviewer noted an atmosphere where "All is welcomed. Legal or illegal," which, depending on individual perspective, could be seen as either inclusive or indicative of a lack of stringent rule enforcement.
However, it is crucial for prospective residents to be aware of the feedback from current residents regarding certain conditions. Concerns have been raised about the enforcement of rules, the condition of common areas and walkways (e.g., "walk way is full of mud," "square blocks as a walk way that slide when it rains"), and the size of some lots ("squeezed into a small space"). Additionally, issues with the structural integrity of new homes (e.g., "soft spots in the floor") have been mentioned. It is highly recommended that interested parties conduct thorough on-site visits and inspections, asking detailed questions about lot conditions, maintenance plans, and rule enforcement to ensure the park meets their personal standards and expectations.

Opelika Mobile Home Park Reviews
If you pay your lot rent that's all that matters. No rules are enforced by the landlord. All is welcomed. Legal or illegal.
May 03, 2025 · Allan HarrisonThis is not the mobile park you want to bring you or your loved ones to for a fresh start. The behaviors of the owners range from unprofessionalism to pure greed. The rules that are set in place are not enforced. My walk way is full of mud that have not been fixed yet and I’ve been here 11 months . They will not put concrete in the correct spaces so my guest and children can have a safe walk space. Instead they have constantly fallen due to the poor structure they have given me and will not correct to be cheap they literally just sat square blocks as a walk way that slide when it rains and you fall. I could continue the list of things wrong here but I just wanted to give others an idea. Please before you decide to bring your family here make sure that you make sure you’re ready and is 100% satisfied. They are not caring nor do they show any empathy for their wrong doings. Due to the poor living conditions I discovered early on, I’ve asked to be transferred. It seems as if I’m stuck in a home I’m not satisfied with and I can’t get any help from management. The space is very small and I was squeezed into a small space between a trailer and private property. Because I was squeezed in a lot size so small, there is no room for my child to enjoy his outside time and the yard is only as big as my porch literally where my porch stop that’s where my yard stops. I had no idea that I would placed in between such a small space. I am in a brand new trailer that has more problems than it should. My child’s floor seems as if it’s not structured completely because of all of the soft spots in the floor. I’m scared for anyone to go in there because of it. The list does go on here as well but please take away one thing, this is not the place for you or your family. Please don’t make the same mistake I did because of how good management seems or how pretty it looks on the pictures!
Jun 07, 2022 · shakeria ligonHORRIBLE! Stay away if you can. The management is the worst then they want to charge you for things that were broken before you got here. They also never answer the phone you have to go to the from office but they are never in. They magically lose paperwork. If I could give this place a 0 I would. Can't wait until my lease is up so I can move.
Jun 16, 2018 · Fazia BakerMy mom has lived here for quite a while now and we have no complaints. It is wonderful that they switched to individual trash cans instead of the large dumpsters.
Mar 05, 2021 · Melissa GarrettVery well maintained rules for the community. Reasonable Lot rentals. The owners of this property have been in business for a long time so enough said
