We'll explore its strategic location, the array of services and amenities it provides, and important considerations for those evaluating this community as a potential long-term residence in Michigan.
Northtowne Meadows functions as a manufactured home community, a popular housing model where residents typically own their manufactured homes and lease the specific lot on which their home is situated. This arrangement can often provide a more accessible and potentially affordable route to homeownership compared to purchasing a traditional site-built house, making it an option for many Michigan residents. The community offers both homes for sale and rental options, with a variety of 2, 3, and 4-bedroom homes available, some of which are customizable. The homes are described as featuring modern amenities like wood kitchen cabinets, full kitchen appliance packages, kitchen islands, entertainment centers, and primary suites, aiming to provide "high-quality luxury living."
However, it's important for prospective residents to also consider feedback from current or past experiences. Reviews indicate concerns regarding the pricing of homes for sale and lot rent, with some residents feeling these costs are high when compared to traditional housing options in the area. Additionally, a review highlights a rigorous application process that includes extensive background and credit checks, which some applicants have found to be stringent, extending to very old felony charges. This suggests that while Northtowne Meadows aims to offer a desirable living environment, prospective residents should thoroughly evaluate the financial commitments and application requirements. The community's overall appeal is balanced between the attractive features of the homes and amenities, and the reported experiences concerning costs and the application process.

Northtowne Meadows Reviews
They want $100,000 and up for a manufactured home, then you have to pay $500 monthly for lot rent, and how ever much prop taxes, & insurance is too?! This is a joke, right? I could find a real house for that much and not have to pay lot rent. They also want $1,300 just to rent one, plus the lot rent! You can find real homes to rent cheaper that are even bigger.I have a nice double wide that was $8,000.Their prices here at Northtowne Meadows are absolutely insane. I'm appalled.
May 30, 2025 · Brie V.Terrible experience overall.. Submitted application only to be denied from a non disclosed felony charge from 24 yrs ago.. Didn’t honestly think I had to disclose it because of how long ago it was.. Ever since the conviction, (which yes was theft overall), I became married and had 3 children that I wanted nothing more than to provide for the legal way.. And then on top of that, to base your decision off of a below average credit score overall, says a lot about the company I was submitting the application to.. My credit may not be perfect overall, but instead of paying off past debts, I was focusing on providing properly for my wife and my children.. I would not recommend this place to anyone that goes to apply to this place overall.. Discrimination at its finest right here.. For a trailer court to background check you from 25 years ago is beyond comprehensible.. They probably paid more for the background check than I myself paid for the application fee for myself and my wife.. Wouldn’t want to live here anyhow.. Maybe the decision was correct overall.. But these reviews go along way to potential newcomers.. And it’s something that cannot be removed overall.. So now, you’se you can deal with that.. Stay away from this discriminatory trailer court overall.. Best advice I can give..

Oct 18, 2020 · Tricia AnayaDon’t even waste your time applying. First, they charge a bunch of money for application fees. Second, they don’t communicate at all to you during the application process. They also do a hard credit inquiry, of course they didn’t say this at all. I haven’t had a hard credit inquiry when applied for any house or apartment in the past 10 years. Now I have this on my credit report. Thirdly, my husband and I have a decent credit score and make $7000 a month and got denied. They didn’t call me or tell me about being denied, but I received a letter in the mail with no reason listed. Completely Unprofessional. I have great rental history and have never been denied for anything in my entire life. I literally have a leased vehicle, multiple credit cards and am currently renting a home. Something isn’t adding up. Oh yeah and make sure you drive through the entire community, it looks quiet dumpy compared to other mobile home communities. I found abandoned mattresses and other trash around the neighborhood.
