Jun 09, 2025 · Roger ShellenbargerJust a traveling overnight stop for us. Friendly staff and decent facilities and campground. Major downside is noise from I75 traffic on one side and rail tracks on the other with frequently running trains that that blow their horns at crossings. Ear plugs recommended for sleeping.
Jun 08, 2025 · Tom RobinsonWe had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect for us as it was a short trip. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities with extras in the kitchen. I have already referred friends to the area. The campground was amazing with all the activities for kids to do. First one that we have been to that had that. The Easter festivities were a definite bonus. The staff was so kind and helpful..100% recommend
Apr 24, 2025 · Amy GarnerGreat RV park. Everyone is very friendly, everything is in great working order and well maintained. Nice play ground for the kids and a dog park. We had a very nice stay there. There is a rail road across the street that frequents trains throughout the night. It’s not the locations fault but it is something to make note of. We did not mind the train.
Apr 01, 2025 · ANWe stayed for one night. The office staff is very pleasant and customer focused. Prices feel way too premium for what you get. The park itself is small and older, that's not bad when well maintained. Full tree leaf out was still a couple weeks away, but they seem to have a mix of full sky sites and canopy/shade. Trees seem well managed and no looming dead ones. I dislike parks that leave dead trees to disingrate over our roof. Our site was unlevel and even with our levelers I couldn't quite get there. There is a nice playground behind the office. Restrooms were rough, more a commentary on the campers than the campground. Nothing a little portion control and a green salad wouldn't fix. I don't think they would treat their own campers with this much disrespect. The campsite layout is the one I prefer the least. Sites are narrow. So the neighbors picnic table is 3 feet from your slide-out. Fire pit is way too close for comfort. Yes, and the sewer connections are right there by the tables. Just never a fan of such tight sites. While not cost effective, eliminating a few sites would really improve things. Fine for a stopover, but I wouldn't book a week. There is the train noise everyone mentions and the highway...just what it is. If they could get it as a quiet zone for the train the horn noise would at least go away. Can't comment on the location too much, it was close to the highway and gas station is convenient. It's a nice little park with a few challenges. Felt safe too.
