Nemadji Campground Reviews
Critique for short term camping. We stayed four nights in a hybrid travel trailer. The short term camping sites do not have sewer connections. We were able to conserve water and dump at the dump station on the way out. Nice view of the Nemadji River from these campsites. I was surprised that they do have bathrooms with showers. Very clean bathroom but 50 degrees F with no heat turned on. Water was hot. For short term camping we were beside a huge Class C motorhome on one side and motorcycles tent camping on the other. Roads in the park need resurfacing. This is a mobile home park that has opened up sites to long term RVs. Based on the insulation on some of the RVs water hoses it looks like some people are spending winters in their RVs. Gets really really cold in Superior in the winter. An eclectic assortment of homes, old mobile homes, new mobile homes and park models, old and new RVs. I see a late model Class A diesel pusher. There are two ice fishing house campers that look like they are lived in full time, with air conditioning, on ice fishing houses. Convenient location.
Jun 12, 2023 · Larry From WisconsinI just fish down at the river with my father in law. Just happens to be behind the camp/trailer park
Jul 25, 2023 · Jacob BachandNothing to write home about, but it's conveniently close to US 2, and it was very quiet at night (a lot of nearby train honking in the morning though). There is pretty much nothing to do here, but if you just need a place to stay either passing through or maybe if you needed to be in Superior/Duluth for something, it's fine. We stayed in a full hookup site right near the entrance, and the next site over (it was empty) was very close, as in too close to put out our awning if a camper was there, and no picnic table or firepit, but we were just stopping for the night so it didn't matter. I did notice that the sites on the opposite end from us (with lower numbers, especially 1-5) looked like they would be a nice place to more properly camp, although you'd have to have a smaller camper and they were only electric, I believe.
Sep 15, 2023 · Marie QCamping/mobile home park. I've never stayed here but I've walked or driven by it for years and it looks the same as it first did 20 years ago.. you can't tell it's a campground really. Not much for signs or even fire rings. Decent fishing in rhe nemadji there though.
Mar 16, 2024 · TRavis CampbellSpoiler alert, this is not a KOA! Nemadji is a mobile home park with some RV slots. There is no website, park map, wi-fi, camp store, swimming pool, or any of that. You call, talk to a real person, make your reservation and set up your RV. We had a site with water, electric, and sewer and it suited our needs perfectly. Nemadji is close to downtown Superior, WI and just a stone’s throw from Duluth, MN. We had plenty of cell service on AT&T and Verizon and plenty of off air TV reception. The park is quiet. The only noise we heard was from a trash truck and a crew that was mowing lawns. Bottom line, if we were in the area a second time we would stay there.
