Myrtle Beach Travel Park Reviews
We’ve been coming here for over 15 years. The facilities are great! The older grounds staff are so nice however the quality and friendliness of the younger staff have gone downhill, specifically pool lifeguards and arcade/grill workers. The grill workers (minus the older cook. He’s always positive and smiling) act like it’s an inconvenience to work. The pool lifeguards seem like they’d rather be anywhere else besides doing the job. Overall it’s one of the best campgrounds we’ve stayed at but I smile goes a long way in making things feel better!
Jul 01, 2025 · Brittney BroomeBeautiful campground. All of the employees were super nice and helpful. The pool was beautiful. All of the bath houses were spotless. We had one issue with the water. The spigot handle was broken. We called the office and it was fixed in less than 45 minutes. My only complaint was our site wasn’t even close to being level. But that’s it. We loved it and We will definitely be staying here again.
May 27, 2025 · Tim McCallMy wife and kids really enjoyed staying here. You are allowed to fish (catch and release). The pool area and gift shop are really nice. The food is a little high in the general store if you forgot items. I recommend packing or running to Walmart before hand. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and recommend stopping here. We do wish you were allowed golf carts.
Jun 07, 2025 · Thomas KellerA wonderful family oriented campground. Our family has been vacationing here for several years. Mary that works in Reservations is simply a jewel. She is always friendly and helpful. A true asset. There is also a very sweet lady who sings at Sunday service. She has a beautiful voice and also very friendly. Thank you ladies for your kindness. You make this an even better place to visit.
Jun 07, 2025 · NENA CARPENTERWe have been faithful customers for 6 winters in the rental villas. We have enjoyed coming here. The customer service, maintenance, and staff are the best. They work hard to keep the villas maintained and clean. All the activities are great. Unfortunately we were shocked with the 57% increase for next winter. We want to keep coming, but as senior citizens on a fixed income that hasn't risen anywhere near 57%, we wonder if this wonderful place can be our winter destination.
