Mountain View MHC Introduce
For many Utah residents in the bustling Salt Lake Valley, Mountain View MHC (Manufactured Home Community) offers a compelling and affordable alternative to the conventional housing market. Located in West Valley City, this community provides a foundation for homeownership in a structured, residential neighborhood setting. Mountain View MHC is an all-ages community dedicated to providing residents with a comfortable, accessible, and family-friendly environment.
The manufactured housing model is an increasingly vital option for local users seeking financial flexibility. Residents own their home structure while leasing the lot it sits on, which significantly lowers the overall cost barrier compared to buying a traditional home and the land it occupies. This distinction allows many Utah families to enjoy the benefits of home stability, personal space, and community belonging without the overwhelming financial pressure of high-priced Wasatch Front real estate.
As a Mobile Home Park, the community is designed to foster a sense of neighborhood. While direct resident feedback indicates some ongoing operational and communication issues, particularly regarding rent payment processes and confusion over associated fees, the fundamental elements of the community—namely its dedicated lot ownership, family amenities, and excellent location—make it a relevant option for the area. For example, one review highlighted the surprisingly high HOA fees, which suggests residents are focused on the cost component of their housing, making transparent communication from the management crucial. Prospective residents are strongly encouraged to contact management to clarify all fee structures and payment policies upfront.
This overview is crafted to help local users in the Utah region understand the core value and key features of Mountain View MHC, focusing on its potential as a long-term, affordable residential solution in West Valley City.

June 03 · Espe CruzThe HOA fees are ridiculous. $1180 mo. I know people that live here.
August 03 · Michael G 2121I own my trailer, and my space rent is outrageous. My rent was set up to be taken out on the 5th day of the month, years ago, ( by manager at the time.) since then we have had 3 other managers, plus 1. Which is now the new Landlord. The first time rent is due under the new Landlord, and I have a late fee, service charges, and maybe more. The new Landlord said rent is due by the 3rd. Is this the way that tenants are treated?????????
October 09 · Don RandallIt’s such a relaxing place and I love the view of the mountains behind my house and I love that I get to live close to my cousin I also love the ice cream truck that passes by.
