Mountain Top RV Campground Reviews
We stayed in 45 one night and 47 the other! Both great sites with amazing views. I recommend using the owner recommendations for getting there. Peaceful and quiet! We loved our stays!
May 11, 2025 · Lisa VanderMeerThis review is long, but I wanted to make sure I painted an accurate picture of this campground for future guests so they truly knew what to expect. So I am putting the full detailed review in images because Google has a text limit.Mountain top has a beautiful view of the rolling hills below, a nice, clean restroom, with the option to do laundry or shower for an additional fee. It has a specific target audience of guests, but truly is not a typical family camping experience. This campground would be perfect if you were looking for a place to park and sleep while you visit the city of Pittsburgh. Or perfect if you were an elderly retired couple looking to relax together. But we can't recommend it for families wanting to camp together and hang out together, or even really for kids in general.
Sep 09, 2024 · Jenna GonzalesVery nice campground. The view is fantastic. The restrooms and laundry room are very nice. I didn't see a playground or anything, but since I don't have kids, I don't care about that. I saw lots of kids playing ball and running around in a field. The other campers I met were all nice folks. The Saturday night concert was fun. I'll definitely camp here again.
Jul 08, 2024 · Bryan MonacoNeeded a campground close to Pittsburgh for a concert at PNC Park. Stayed there in site 48 for 4 nights. The view behind our site was amazing. The location of the campground was perfect for us. This was by far the quietest campground we have ever stayed at. The owner was super nice he came to check on us, as we arrived later in the evening. The laundry room and shower house was very clean. The sites were spacious. We really liked it there despite not having a whole lot of amenities.
Jul 29, 2024 · Mike TackettWe were very happy with this location and the quality of this campground especially considering how relatively close it is to the city. We were visiting family so it was the perfect location to all sides and within Pittsburgh. It is well supervised, quiet and had wonderful views. Drive back to it is on a curvy country road but we had no issues with our 35’ th wheel and it’s well worth the 10 minute cruise to be away from the noise of a busy highway. So glad I found this place!
