Mother Lode Mobile Estates offers a compelling option for locals in the California region, particularly those drawn to the charm and natural beauty of Sonora and Tuolumne County. Its primary appeal lies in its "beautiful area" and the serene environment it provides. For Californians seeking to escape the relentless pace of urban life, this park offers a peaceful retreat where the natural surroundings contribute significantly to a relaxed lifestyle. The presence of "very nice management" is a strong advantage, suggesting a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where residents feel heard and respected. While the responsibility for tree maintenance, particularly concerning the large pine trees, is a key consideration that potential residents should be fully aware of before purchasing a home, this transparency is important for informed decision-making. California law, specifically Civil Code §798.37.5, generally places the responsibility for tree maintenance on park management for trees on rental spaces, especially if they pose a hazard. However, rental agreements can sometimes shift certain responsibilities to homeowners, particularly for agreements entered into before 2001 or if specified in renewed leases. It is crucial for prospective residents to carefully review the park's rules and regulations, as well as their specific rental agreement, to fully understand these obligations. For those who are comfortable with, or able to manage, such responsibilities, or who are fortunate to find lots with smaller foliage, the trade-off for living in such a beautiful area with friendly management might be well worth it. The location in Sonora provides easy access to essential amenities and endless recreational opportunities in the surrounding Gold Country, making it suitable for active retirees and those who appreciate outdoor pursuits. Despite a single negative review regarding lot rent, it's important to note that mobile home parks can offer a more affordable housing solution compared to traditional stick-built homes in California, and individual experiences may vary. Overall, Mother Lode Mobile Estates stands as a viable and attractive community for locals who value a scenic environment, a sense of community, and direct access to the natural and historical richness of the Mother Lode region, provided they are fully informed about all community guidelines.

Mother Lode Mobile Estates Reviews
Beautiful area for sure. Very nice management as well...But, buying a home in this park makes you responsible for those HUGE, mile high pine trees. You are the one that has to keep it trimmed, or get it cut down when the park decides its a hazard. You won't know this until you read the rules and regs....AFTER you buy a home and get qualified for the park. This should be posted or stated in the listing. But its all about the money and getting it sold. If your one of the lucky ones, you may be able to buy a property that only has small, managable folage.
Nov 22, 2023 · Sarah GuerreroJoke of a mobile home park. Ripping off seniors for almost 800 a month just for a space to park a RV. Total rip off, stay away
Nov 10, 2024 · StuntmanIt's a nice little RV/ Mobile Home Park. It's quiet and kept clean. What is wrong is that trying to get back out on to the road, is that it is a 50 mph street, and most people drive faster than they should, making it dangerous for trying to get out of the entrance/exit for this place.
Oct 11, 2020 · Joriene BoothThis is anamazing place to reside. The managment is very friendly and helpful. The recreation room, kitchen, showers and laundry room are always spotless. Everyone that I have met in my 2 months here have been friendly and many people make their spaces look very nice. I highly recommend that you check it out if you are looking for an affordable place to live in Sonora.
