★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Nicely paved .nice bathrooms and showers. Clean laundry room. Dryers are old and take a while. The last one at the end on top is hottest. Your welcome. Grass area for kiddos with games you can get from the office. Small playground for little ones. My grandson spent a little time playing and enjoyed it! We’ve never stayed here and pulled in about 7:30. They had 2 spots left so we snagged one. We are traveling cross country and just stopped to sleep and hang for a bit . Not doing tourist stuff in the area. Got the kids and ourselves all dressed for the pool because across all the states the time is usually 10pm pool close time. and when we got there it said 7pm and after is for adults only. They have adult only RV resorts for that. This is a family friendly place and some people drive in later. That’s not cool. I’ve never seen that before and was really bummed because we always choose places with pools. .kids have a long day on the road and this is something they look forward to. Jacuzzi was a little dirty. There was some country concert in town I guess. Staff was nice. My son set his scooter to 5 mph like the sign said and some old lady yelled at him to slow down. We were right there. That’s unnecessary. lol some people…… I think if you don’t like kids you stay at an adult only place because we were obeying the rules and there was no need to be like that. That’s what seems better. Mosquitoes were horrendous. The morning time was quiet and I loved the sunrise. Overall nice stay because anywhere you go. there are people and well….. people are people. 😊 a mix of nice and not. Life is beautiful 😍
June 20 · Rebekah VigilVery nice park on the edge of town. Spaces are adequately sized and the lot is smooth and paved. Hot tub is a great feature. Plenty of shade in an area that lacks shade. Friendly staff with great ideas for things to do. Walking distance to food and shopping and a short drive to the Colorado Monument. Pleasant, peaceful, clean, and perfect for families and short or long vacations. Might be the best value in the area!
July 15 · GingerGreat location across from a state park, close to the river and Colorado National Monument, 5 miles from incredible mountain biking, bike trail all the way to Palisade where there are peach orchards and wineries. Oh, 30 minutes to the Grand Mesa and all it's lakes, trails, and nature. Very nice and mellow staff, they keep the park immaculately clean, it's quiet, and it's affordable. Liquor store, Ice house water dispenser, and a bunch of fast food options a 5 minute walk away. Only con I can think of is that the spaces are a bit too narrow, but why stay inside when there's so much to do? Very nice little hot tub to end a day of adventure. My favorite park by a mile, I stay here as much as I can.Update: still great, another amenity they offer is propane refills, and if you put your empty by the road someone will pick it up in the morning and return it full and charge it to your account (I recommend attaching a tip). They also are happy to receive mail and packages in the office for you. I would also mention again that the staff work very hard and keep the park very clean! I'm at the park again and loving it.
July 27 · John RushingThis is a great place to stay when visiting the Colorado National Monument. However, the sites are very narrow and face to face. If we had wanted to sit at our picnic table, we would have been rubbing elbows with our neighbors. There are two laundry rooms which were clean and well maintained. There was some construction going on but it didn’t bother us. It had rained before we arrived and a number of the units had water pooling underneath which would have troubled me. It did soak in within a day. The pool was not as yet open and we were told that the hot tub, which was not as yet open, would most likely not be opened at all. Another advantage to this location is the DQ located next door to the site.
April 19 · Joe BurganMickey was so helpful with making sure that our campsite was suitable for us. We had problems with a tree branch preventing us from being able to extend our awning. Mickey got his tools and trimmed the tree. He was always busy every time we saw him . What a nice person.
