Maxwell Mobile Home & RV Park, as indicated by its residents, embodies many of the positive attributes associated with well-maintained and community-focused parks. It aims to offer a comfortable and manageable living experience, distinguished by its peaceful atmosphere and attentive management. As we delve into the specifics of its location, the services it provides, and its highlighted features, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of what makes Maxwell Mobile Home & RV Park a compelling consideration for those exploring housing and RV options in rural Northern California.
The geographical location of any residential community significantly impacts the quality of life, access to services, and overall experience. Maxwell Mobile Home & RV Park is advantageously located at 450 Old Hwy 99W, Maxwell, CA 95955, USA. This address places it within the small, agricultural community of Maxwell, nestled in Colusa County in California's Central Valley. While Maxwell offers a peaceful, rural ambiance, its proximity to major transportation routes ensures good accessibility.
The park's location "accross the hwy 99" (referring to Old Highway 99W, which runs parallel to the main Highway 99) provides easy access to one of California's primary north-south arteries. This makes it convenient for residents and RVers to travel to larger nearby towns and cities for services, employment, or recreation. For example, it's a relatively short drive to communities like Williams, Colusa, and further afield to Yuba City or Sacramento, offering a balance between quiet country living and access to more urban amenities.
A distinct highlight of the park's location, as noted by a resident, is the view of the "Sutter Buttes." These unique, isolated peaks rise majestically from the flat Sacramento Valley floor and are often referred to as the "world's smallest mountain range." Having a "view of the Sutter Buttes out my big picture window" and getting to "watch the sunrise everyday" adds immense scenic value and a strong connection to the distinctive Northern California landscape. While it's a rural setting, with coyotes occasionally heard across the highway, this contributes to the authentic "country life" experience that many seek, all while maintaining good connectivity.

Jul 01, 2025 · Robin LadukeWe just moved in about a month ago and Trina has been so welcoming, specially after moving 2 hours away from home, she not only helped us with our process but also has been so helpful with other things, sure has made us feel very welcoming to this new town. Trina came by to see how we are doing, if there was anything she can help us with. She just goes above and beyond. This park is always clean, we see her doing lawn maintenance and just always so friendly with residents. We love it here! Thank you Trina for making us feel very welcomed!
