It was absolutely horrible. On Friday September 14 at 5:30pm a friend of mine were out looking for mobile home park. After we drove through this park, we pulled off to the side of the driveway, organizing our notes of the mobile homes for sale. We were not blocking any traffic and minding our own business. When this rude weathered older women carrying body blue building weights, approaches my passenger side of the car. She is demanding that we leave or she said she was going to call the police. Since we were minding our own business and she sure wasn't minding hers, we thought she was joking. But she remained standing there harrassing us. So we pulled out of the spot and park behind a truck on the road. Finally she met up with her female girlfriend again pointing at us the whole time. We were about 200 feet away, parked behind a truck! So as these two walked into the park we pulled out of the parking spot to carry on our way. I guess you won't be surprised if I told you she was watching us drive away. It was such a horrific experience to be held at. My friend and I are two 55yr old women just simply looking for a place to live and that's how we were treated there. Since she approached the passenger side of the car and not the drivers side, I found that unusual but racism is obvious. I am white, my friend is black. I don't know where everyone comes from in life, but I know we're all human even if some people should be locked up. So I am going to make another trip down to this mobile home park only this time without my black friend. She has gone through this enough in her lifetime, she doesn't need to experience anymore. I am going to have a big conversation with this management about the kind of savages they allow to pollute their grounds here. I can only hope that the savages women sees my car and takes the bait. I will make sure to photograph her and post it, so that we all know who she is. - Renee Boakes

Marineland Mobile Home Park Introduce

Marineland Mobile Home Park offers a distinctive and highly sought-after living experience in the heart of Hermosa Beach, California. Unlike many traditional mobile home parks, Marineland operates as a resident-owned cooperative, meaning those who live here also own a share of the community land. This unique structure fosters a strong sense of pride, ownership, and community among its residents. Nestled just blocks from the iconic Hermosa Beach Pier and the Pacific Ocean, Marineland provides an unparalleled opportunity for beachside living in the desirable South Bay area of Los Angeles. It presents a more accessible entry point into this affluent coastal community, often at a more favorable price point than traditional stick-built homes, allowing residents to embrace the quintessential Southern California lifestyle.

Location and Accessibility

Marineland Mobile Home Park is enviably located at 531 Pier Ave, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254, USA. This address places it squarely in one of Southern California's most desirable coastal communities. The paramount feature of its location is its incredible proximity to the beach and downtown Hermosa Beach – often described as being just "4 blocks to the ocean" or "right in the center of downtown Hermosa beach, behind the post office." This means residents can easily walk or bike to the sand, the Hermosa Beach Pier, and the vibrant array of shops, cafes, and restaurants that line Pier Avenue and Hermosa Avenue.

Beyond the immediate beach access, Hermosa Beach itself is centrally located within the broader South Bay region of Los Angeles. This provides excellent accessibility to a wider range of amenities and opportunities. Major roadways such as Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and nearby freeways connect residents to surrounding cities like Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, and beyond. Commuters will find transit/subway stations like Marine/Redondo Station within a 7-minute drive, and major airports like Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) are just a 14-minute drive away, making travel convenient. For daily needs, several shopping centers, including Plaza Hermosa, are within a short walk (less than 0.5 miles), and numerous parks like South Park and Valley Park are easily accessible, offering playgrounds, picnic areas, and sports courts. The combination of coastal charm and urban convenience makes Marineland Mobile Home Park a truly exceptional location in California.
