Maple Woods Introduce
For many Michiganders, the dream of homeownership comes with questions about affordability, community, and location. Manufactured home communities have long served as a vital part of Michigan's housing landscape, offering an accessible and often community-rich alternative to traditional site-built homes. If you're a local in Michigan, especially in the southeastern part of the state, and are considering your residential options, Maple Woods in Adrian might be a community that catches your eye. This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and factual overview of Maple Woods, offering insights into what this community presents from a local Michigan perspective.

While both accommodate factory-built dwellings, manufactured home communities are designed for permanent or long-term residency. They offer a stable, neighborhood-like environment where residents own their homes and lease the land, fostering a sense of stability and community. RV parks, on the other hand, typically cater to temporary stays for recreational vehicles. The manufactured housing sector in Michigan continues to evolve, providing a significant avenue for affordable housing and community living across the state.

My first year clean home fix screens paint deck and a family raccoon moved in next to us maintenance guy cool.
May 27, 2023 · John McdermottGot into maple woods in March. Signed a year lease on a place that required some work, have been working on it for the last 6 months making steady progress. Got a letter in the mail that we were required to fix our roof, replace screens in the windows, proper window treatments (which i have curtains on all the windows but she also wants blinds), repaint steps and porch, clean up the bikes in the yard and all the things we had been actively using to repair the home, and repair our shed door. She gave us two weeks to get it done. We got the blinds up, got the yard cleaned up and power washed the deck and steps in preparation to be repainted. But because we didn’t get all of that done in two weeks, we were served an eviction notice 6 months into our year lease... also before this letter we had put $15,000 into home repairs already. When I first talked to her during filing my application she said she understood it needed a lot of work and as long as she saw progress she wouldn’t bother us. After the repair letter I left work and tried to meet up with her during business hours and no one was there. Since the eviction notice we have called two separate times during business hours which are only 9-1 three days a week, we still haven’t gotten a response. Also tried to call the people that own the place left a message and haven’t gotten a reply.... I’m done with maple woods, since this new ownership it has gone down hill, I lived in here before when Lucy ran the place and I miss her because at least she was real, if she had an issue you could call up and talk with her about it, this lady doesn’t even give us the time of day.Side note, yes the maintenance man is awesome!
Oct 02, 2019 · Lance HoneywellI live here and do like it but unfortunately I am on a very limited budget due to my disability. Because they raised the lot rent do much and charge me 20$ for a companion dog for my Ms that my neurologist wrote a letter to the court so they wouldn't charge me, they did not accept it. So,. I have to move. Can not afford to live here. Anyone want to buy a beautiful 3 bedroom home? Lots of room. A must see. Have put a lot of $ into this place to make it my home. Now I have to leave it. Seriously, I have to sell. Anyone interested? Text me! 03/11/19 court now owns my trailer. Like I said previously, I did like having my front and back door and my little lawn and I really enjoyed the end of the driveway with the carport I will miss my home it is a great buy for a family!
Mar 11, 2019 · Chris WerstlerThis park is unbelievable! The manager will lie to your face, bend the rules for her favorite tenants, and evict tenants based on personal vendettas. I was babysitting my bfs kids and was kicked out of the pool area bc i was not a tenant...IN FRONT OF THE KIDS! When i filed the necessary paperwork to become a tenant, i was told i had to get rid of 1 of my dogs (i had 2 chihuahuas) in order to move in. I rehomed 1 of my dogs then was denied tenancy. She is an extremely nasty woman and the park is half empty already. She tried to evict my bf after that bc the deck needed stained and window screens need replaced. Do NOT move to this park!
Oct 02, 2019 · Beth PetersonA resident of ten years, and and new ownership/management has really went downhill. I've been threatened eviction for my girlfriend spending the night... Be very careful with trailer parks getting bought by corporations that don't care about the residents.
