Magnolia Forest Reviews
What a gem! I just spent 4 months here and it was so awesome! Everything I could’ve hoped for. Camp hosts Bo and Pam were great! They are very conscientious about enforcing campground rules so if you like to listen to loud music late at night or don’t mind if your dog barks incessantly, this might not be your best option.Absolutely awesome fried shrimp dinner at the Maine barn on-site where they have happy hour and dinner specials Wed-Sunday.Maintenance is quite impressive. They have a crew that comes in once or twice a week that blows the leaves off the roads and each individual pad which is especially nice when leaves are falling. After some pretty significant rains, there were alot of potholes around the gravel roads that meander through the campground. These were filled and covered immediately. The only con is that the agreement states no streaming and downloading on their Wi-Fi service so no Netflix.Hopefully I will be back some day!
Apr 14, 2025 · Melissa BullockAwesome place to stay. Good ppl, good food, and my favorite it all the trees. It's actually like a forest with lots of trails to walk my buddy.
Jan 02, 2025 · ryan BWe started our RV journey 2 years ago at this park. After a year we travelled for about 3 months at other parks before we got called back. We knew exactly where to go back to. Every lot is buried in the trees providing shade for nearly the entire day. A huge plus in the Texas summer. After we moved back, the owner finished up and opened The Maine Barn Bar and Grille, an Amish barn relocated from Maine. This vaulted two story structure was amazingly rebuilt using the original timber and fastened with wooden nails. The food is really good with surprise specials every week. BYOB with setups, nice cold beer, and they have even begun live music usually from musicians within the park. The park is very well maintained and the management is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!!
Mar 12, 2025 · David SandelHands down the best Rv park I’ve ever stayed at. Quiet, clean, safe, and just an all around amazing place to stay. The managers are very hands on and helpful. The Barn Grill has amazing food, vibes and overall great atmosphere. Literally felt like being with family. If I’m ever back in the area and need a place to park, there will be no doubt I’ll be returning here.
