The park offers the fundamental services of mobile home lot rentals and potentially home sales, presenting an affordable housing alternative.

These issues, if accurate, point to challenges in tenant-landlord relations and property management. While the park aims to offer stable residency, the reported experiences suggest that direct communication, careful review of lease agreements, and an understanding of tenant rights in Missouri are highly recommended before committing. Ultimately, Lakeside Community offers a housing option in Rolla, but due diligence and an understanding of the past experiences of residents will be key for any local considering it for their home.

Lakeside Community Reviews
I have lived here 5yrs now and the landlord has gotten worse over the years! First off almost every maintenance issue I've had and brought up hasn't been fixed for example someone fell thru my porch and 2 summers later it still hasn't been fixed! The front porch is falling apart and separates from the house when u step onto it which my father temporarily fixed it. There is a 6in section that runs the width of the trailer that dips bc the trailer has settled when brought up to landlord he didn't seem to care too much. There is about a half inch gap in the wall of the master bathroom that air from outside comes thru. Some of the light switches are shorted out and the lights flicker. I had a leak in the kitchen and his maintenance guy came down to look at it and said he didn't see any issue with it and left. The ac freezes up every year numerous times which he did fix that this year finally. Then there is the lawn maintenance guys who literally has ruined my kids toys, lawn decorations and even the underpinning to the trailer. I've asked him about moving to another place so he can fix these issues and he's ignored me until recently and he tried to say it's due to my poor house keeping when he's never even been inside, to my knowledge! I've also had one instant with rent and he tried to double charge me my rent and when brought up he basically said not my problem. He had no intentions to fix it until my bank filed a fraudulent claim then he issued the 2nd charge back. Aside from that one time I've paid my rent on time and don't bother anyone but he can't even fix and maintain his trailer, but has made sure to increase my rent 3 times!!!!! Steer clear if possible, It's not worth the hassle!!!
Apr 18, 2024 · Tisha Adamsomg this dude. He knew he wasn't going to rent to me before we talked and still tried to get another $20 for another application fee.I'm a perfect tenant with a excellent job. So clearly he wants to hassle people and take their money. So shawn your mobile home wasn't really all that. Get off your high horse and stop taking people's money.
Apr 07, 2024 · Dennis BartronI love living here. I don't want to say too many nice things because I don't want bad people to move here LOL. The community is amazing. There is zero Riff Raff. I'm serious. This place is amazing.
Jul 20, 2023 · Richard GerischerQuiet mobile home community. Very peaceful and friendly, half a mile from little prairie lake. Great landlord as long as you make sure your rent is paid. He does not accept late rent and will not work with you. If you pay rent on time he will take care of anything that needs fixed anytime.
Jul 16, 2018 · Bobby CampbellI lived here for two years. It's a quiet community and all my neighbors were all pretty nice. When I went to move out I couldn't get ahold of the landlord about getting my deposit back though. I called and texted him multiple times, but I never getting a response. He just kept my $535 and never said a word.
