LA CASA DE CRISTIAN Introduce
Navigating the landscape of mobile home parks in Florida can be a complex endeavor for local residents seeking affordable housing options. While many communities offer a positive living experience, it's crucial to conduct thorough research and understand the realities of any potential residence. This article aims to provide a clear, factual, and informative overview of LA CASA DE CRISTIAN, a mobile home park located in Tampa, Florida. We will present publicly available information, including direct customer feedback, to help users in the Florida region gain a comprehensive understanding of what to expect from this particular location.
Mobile home parks often represent a vital segment of the affordable housing market in Florida, attracting individuals and families looking for alternatives to traditional homeownership or apartment rentals. These communities can offer a sense of camaraderie and a more flexible lifestyle. However, the quality of experience can vary significantly between parks, often depending on management practices, maintenance standards, and adherence to tenant rights. Our goal in this review of LA CASA DE CRISTIAN is to aggregate the available data to paint an objective picture, focusing on the details that matter most to prospective residents. Understanding both the potential benefits and the challenges reported by current and past occupants is paramount for anyone considering this, or any, mobile home park as their next home in Florida.
LA CASA DE CRISTIAN is situated at 914e E Annie St, Tampa, FL 33612, USA. This address places the mobile home park within the greater Tampa area, a bustling metropolitan hub in West Central Florida. The location on E Annie Street provides a degree of local accessibility, typically offering proximity to neighborhood amenities.
While E Annie Street itself might be a residential thoroughfare, its placement within Tampa means that residents are generally connected to the city's broader infrastructure. Access to public transportation routes, if available nearby, would be a key consideration for those without personal vehicles. For essential services, residents would likely need to travel a short distance to reach grocery stores, pharmacies, and healthcare facilities. Similarly, various dining options, from local eateries to more established restaurants, would be found in the surrounding neighborhoods. Major roads, such as Fowler Avenue, Busch Boulevard, or Interstate 275 (I-275), are likely within a reasonable driving distance, providing connectivity to other parts of Tampa and beyond. This allows for access to significant attractions like Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, the University of South Florida (USF), and various shopping malls and entertainment venues. However, the specific immediate surroundings of 914e E Annie St would determine the most direct and convenient access points for these services and attractions. The park's location offers proximity to the urban core of Tampa, providing the potential for job opportunities and city amenities, but the ease of access to specific services should be verified by prospective residents.
Based on the provided customer reviews, which unfortunately highlight significant issues, it appears that the services offered or, more accurately, the quality of services and responsibilities undertaken by LA CASA DE CRISTIAN may be severely lacking. Typically, a mobile home park should provide certain fundamental services to its residents. However, the feedback suggests that these basic expectations might not be met.
- Lot Rental: While lots are presumably rented, the condition of the homes themselves, even those provided by the park, is described as extremely poor, indicating a severe lack of maintenance responsibility on the part of the management/ownership.
- Maintenance and Repairs: There is a significant reported failure in providing timely and adequate maintenance. Reviews mention "roof leaks bad every time it rains," non-functional "stove and oven," and "electrical outlets literally hanging out of the wall," pointing to critical neglect of property conditions that are typically the responsibility of the park or a responsive landlord.
- Property Readiness: A holding deposit and security deposit were taken for a unit that was "not ready with no finish date," suggesting a lack of proper preparation and readiness for new tenants.
- Refund Process: A substantial issue raised is the severe delay or complete failure in returning a "hold deposit" of $400, extending for "over 2 months," indicating a problematic refund policy or practice.
- Pest Control: The presence of "bugs, roaches, termites, fleas" in a unit before move-in indicates a complete absence of pest control services that should be standard or at least addressed promptly by management.
- Safety Concerns: Reports of "floors feel like they are gonna cave in" and "people walking through your yard at all hours, even some staring at my daughter through her window" point to significant failures in ensuring resident safety and structural integrity, which are fundamental aspects of property management.
Based on the provided customer reviews, the highlights and features of LA CASA DE CRISTIAN are overwhelmingly negative, focusing on significant deficiencies rather than positive attributes. It is crucial for prospective residents in Florida to be aware of these reported issues.
- Unsatisfactory Property Condition: Homes are described as "filthy and full of bugs, roaches, termites, fleas," with structural problems such as "floors feel like they are gonna cave in" and "roof leaks bad every time it rains." Non-functioning appliances like the stove and oven are also noted.
- Electrical Hazards: Electrical outlets are reported to be "literally hanging out of the wall," posing serious safety risks to residents.
- Security Concerns: Residents expressed feeling "unsafe" due to "people walking through your yard at all hours, even some staring at my daughter through her window," indicating a potential lack of security measures or enforcement.
- Lack of Transparency and Access: Prospective tenants were "wasn’t allowed to even see the place till we signed the lease," which is a highly concerning practice that limits informed decision-making.
- Problematic Deposit Refunds: A significant issue is the reported failure to return a $400 hold deposit, with delays extending over two months and requiring residents to "chase ppl down." This highlights potential financial mismanagement or predatory practices.
- High Cost for Poor Conditions: The weekly rent of "$300 a week is crazy" for "run down bug infested trailers" that are described as a "death trap" suggests severe overcharging relative to the living conditions provided.
- Exploitation Concerns: Reviewers explicitly state that the place "take advantage of people that may not have anywhere else to go," indicating a predatory business model targeting vulnerable individuals.
- Overall Negative Experience: The sentiment is overwhelmingly negative, with direct recommendations "I do not recommend living here!!!!" and descriptions like "awful" and "total scam."

Based on the comprehensive and highly critical customer reviews, LA CASA DE CRISTIAN appears to be entirely unsuitable for locals in the Florida region, or anyone seeking a safe, habitable, and professionally managed living environment. The consistent and severe negative feedback points to fundamental failures in property maintenance, tenant safety, and ethical business practices.
The reports of uninhabitable conditions, including rampant pest infestations, severe structural damage (like caving floors and leaking roofs), and dangerous electrical wiring, render the properties a significant health and safety risk. Furthermore, the described lack of security and instances of unauthorized individuals near homes create an environment where residents feel "unsafe." The alleged practices regarding deposits, where a "hold deposit" was not returned for an extended period, and units were leased sight unseen only to be found "filthy and full of bugs," suggest a concerning disregard for consumer rights and basic transparency. The stated weekly rental cost of $300 for such conditions is highlighted as "crazy" and "over charges for these run down bug infested trailers," indicating exploitation of individuals who may have limited housing options.
For Florida residents, who are protected by state laws regarding tenant rights and habitable living conditions, these reported issues at LA CASA DE CRISTIAN represent clear violations of what any reputable housing provider should offer. The overwhelming consensus from the reviews is that this location is a "total scam" and "awful." Therefore, rather than being suitable, the public data strongly indicates that potential residents should actively avoid this establishment and instead seek housing from providers with verifiable positive reputations and a commitment to resident well-being and legal compliance. Individuals facing similar issues with mobile home parks in Florida may consider contacting the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes, which handles complaints against mobile home park owners, or the Florida Department of Health for environmental health concerns related to mobile home parks.

LA CASA DE CRISTIAN Reviews
If I could leave less than 1 star I would. What a mess. Back in December came here trying to get a place. Put holding deposit and security deposit down. Waited over 4 weeks just for the unit to not be ready with no finish date. Got back my security deposit. But I then requested my $400 hold deposit back in January 2024. It's been over 2 months and they have still not given me my $400 back. Been a complete waste of time, having to chase ppl down for what they owe me. I definitely need to get a complaint filed because it is beyond ridiculous to have to wait over 30days for a hold deposit 🙄 😒.
Apr 04, 2024 · Adria TaylorMoved into this place in June because I had no other options at the moment, wasn’t allowed to even see the place till we signed the lease. When we finally were able to see the home, we couldn’t believe our eyes. This trailer was filthy and full of bugs, roaches, termites, fleas, you name it, they had it. They make you pay per week and $300 a week is crazy, especially because it’s literally a death trap, floors feel like they are gonna cave in when walking, roof leaks bad every time it rains, and the electrical outlets are literally hanging out of the wall. The stove doesn’t work and neither does the oven, the termites wings are literally stuck to the side of the fridge and they won’t come off no matter how hard you scrub. People walking through your yard at all hours, even some staring at my daughter through her window. We felt unsafe. Thankfully one of the waiting list at an apartment complex I had applied for in January finally became available and they called me and I was more than happy to move out. This place is awful and doesn’t even deserve the one star it has. I just moved out yesterday! My kids and I are much more happier, and feel a lot safer! This place is a total scam and over charges for these run down bug infested trailers. They take advantage of people that may not have anywhere else to go and it’s not right. I do not recommend living here!!!!
Aug 14, 2022 · Naomi MarieI wish I could give a NO star rating! Early September, I was in contact with Linda and I informed her that I would be moving to Florida from Kansas City, MO on 10/1/21. She said a place would be ready for me I can just pick a place upon arrival. She stopped communicating via email after I paid this deposit asking for updates. They do not answer my phone calls either. When I arrived, we spoke with the ‘Regional Manager’ and I was obviously not happy that a place wasn’t ready to move in like promised so she became very rude and unprofessional. She stated that 3 others turned in their deposits before I did so she will make sure she calls them first. UM I would rather be homeless than rent from this trashy place. I see a lot of other reviews saying they didn't get their deposit back after mailing in a deposit refund letter. I will also write a review on BBB or I will drive up to the corporate office myself. I am GETTING my hard earned money back. PERIOD!
Nov 27, 2021 · B AI stayed in lot 26 for 2 weeks. I couldn’t stay there cause of rats at nights & roaches. Vanya Kruger was the one I signed my lease with. I’m still waiting on my security Deposit back. It has been 2 months I’m filling a lawsuit on them. Disgusting
Jul 29, 2023 · Jeffry BaptisteI'd rather rate them 0 stars. I currently live here and I hate it here. They take forever to do anything. There's a problem with rats getting into the units and they tell you that there's nothing that they can do about it. There's a termite infestation in my unit and all they do is come spray. The experience here has been beyond horrible. They're over charging for these run down trailers and the price is nowhere near worth it. They expect you to pay weekly rent but they don't do anything on their end. Maintenance barely comes to do anything and when you ask them about a work order that you put in they give you all these excuses. It's unlivable and unsafe here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this rental property to anyone
