Kamper's Lodge Campground Reviews
Kamper Lodge is wonderful! Lots are big, clean and most are drive thru. We have a 36.5 ft 5th wheel and it had lots of room to spare. It's a great place for pets and kids with the pool, play.ground, fish pond and dog park. It was a nice quiet place to unwind. Each site also has a fire pit, but it was too hot for a fire when we went. We will definitely be back again, when grandkids play in baseball tournaments. The Gillette Ball Stadium is 2 miles away!
Jun 16, 2025 · Kay PhillipsThis was my first experience staying at a campground, and it couldn't have been better! My husband and I stayed for three months, and we were thoroughly impressed by the courteous and caring office staff and grounds crew. Their dedication and friendliness made us feel right at home. While working remotely from our camper, I felt a strong sense of community. As an animal lover, I particularly enjoyed spending time with the donkeys and the sweet office pup, Bailey. They added a special touch to our stay.We encountered an issue with our 5th wheel during our stay, but the staff was incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable advice on how to fix it. The campground itself is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind.I highly recommend Kamper's Lodge Campground to anyone looking for a wonderful camping experience. I am grateful for such a fantastic first-time experience at a campground, especially for an extended stay. Their work ethic and genuine kindness truly impressed us.
Apr 10, 2025 · April HansenWe spent 2 nights here while visiting family on a cross country trip. The pool is nice and clean, showers were close by. We enjoyed the pond with the ducks and visiting the donkeys. Nice and quiet. Would have like more trees/shade.
Jun 08, 2025 · Jennifer HigdonWe stayed at Kampers Lodge while in town for a soccer tournament and couldn’t have picked a better spot—less than 2 miles from the fields! The staff was very friendly, and the campground was quiet and relaxing. Sites are level and easy to get in and out of. Our site (#53) was paved and shaded for most of the day. I’d definitely recommend this place for sports travel to J. Burt Gillette Athletic Complex or a peaceful long weekend stay!
May 19, 2025 · derek carteWe stayed one night to split up the drive from Charlotte to OBX. Nice spot for a stopover, clean and friendly. I would describe as an older campground that we are doing a pretty good job to keep up. Our site was flat and dry, we didn’t have to unhook to get level which was a plus. The black flies were terrible, bring bug spray.we also experienced some gunfire or fireworks but they ended early. The back of the campground did appear to be established long terms. I’m not sure I would stay here for the week, but it was a good overnight spot.
