Residents typically own their manufactured homes and lease the well-maintained sites, fostering a strong sense of pride of ownership and a close-knit community among those who share a love for the river.
Island Shadows is more than just a place to park your home; it's a meticulously crafted environment designed for relaxation and recreation. Developed by the Beaton family over many years, with continuous "tweaking" and enhancements, it represents a true labor of love. The park's commitment to maintaining a pristine community, as described by its owners, and its strategic layout ensuring waterfront views from every home, make it a truly special destination for New Yorkers seeking a summer escape. Island Shadows Mobile Home Park Reviews
Such a beautiful and well kept place. Its right on the St. Lawrence River with all homes having a great view. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because there are far too many rules there. It just seems a little excessive. But don't get me wrong, it is a nice place.
