Holiday Travel Park Reviews
It's our first time camping here for a vacation visiting family in New Port Richey. We stayed at site #6 in our 38ft. Motorhome. Nice clean concrete site with full hook ups and a picnic table. Very nice clubhouse with billiards room, excersize room and huge library with puzzles, books and dvds that you can borrow while you are here. Everything was neat and clean. Outdoor games such as connect 4, a big chess game and shuffle board. A nice clean laundry with 2 washers and 2 dryers in the area we were closest to. The pool was not open yet after a renovation due to waiting on a permit I was told. Had the pool been open I would surely have given a 5 star! We found this place to be close to everything we needed to get to. It was in the high 80's for Temps so the pool really would have been nice. It was quiet here. Staff and residents who live here were kind.
May 10, 2025 · Malia VirantThis is hardly an RV RESORT! Booked a 2 week stay and left after 6 nights, disgusting…ducks and ferel cats everywhere. Long term residents feed them, duck poop everywhere…talk about a depressing place, I think the homeless hanging outside the front entrance are better off than those in the park!!! Place is a complete eyesore, rv’s are thrown in amongst old disgusting mobile homes…🤮
Feb 06, 2025 · Cathy OsmerHave a friend that lives in park. Compared to many others in and around the Tampa area isn't that bad. Seems quiet and not a lot of traffic going on. Nice pond and ducks!
Jun 11, 2025 · Joseph RylanderHave a 23’ trailer. Stayed here because we are members of Thousand Trails. Guess there was a reason why this was the only place I could get a reservation on short notice. Most spots are by permanent residents.Very tight roads and narrow spots. YOU NEED A SURGE SUPPRESSOR. The first day we stayed there was a big surge.Water pressure a little on the low side. The sewer hook up is in the concrete so it was a little difficult to hook that up.Bathrooms are not air conditioned. Now for the good parts - the library and club house is great! Pool tables, competition shuffleboard, horse shoes, and corn hole courts. Pool looked nice.Pet friendly but no free run area. I didn’t see any strip club as prior reviews mentioned but there is a liquor store and lounge, restaurant, and grocery within walking distance. Very short drive to the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs.I liked the location but I too wasn’t going to be walking around at night. There were a lot of homeless people hanging out by the entrance to the park.
Aug 21, 2022 · Stephanie SimmonsWe stayed here this past week with our Thousand Trails membership, so it was “free” for us. They replaced the front entrance sign while we were there, which is a symbol of the upgrades occurring around the place. All washer/dryer machines accept credit/debit cards, which made paying so much easier than planning ahead & getting quarters. Also, there are multiples buildings throughout the park that have shower & laundry facilities, so there are not lines for either. The sites have picnic tables & concrete pads, though the sites themselves are on grass. There are a ton of permanent structures with seasonal snowbirds, but they are very nice & friendly towards kids. Lots of dogs being walked, people bicycling, & an overall feeling of happiness & safety. We had the only two children we saw the entire week we were there, & there is no playground. BUT, the location is perfect for accessing the sponge docks of Tarpon Springs, the city life of Tampa (Zoo, Children’s Museum, Bayshore Blvd, etc.), the beach vibes of Clearwater, & the amazing playgrounds & sunsets of Dunedin. Oh, & the office is great with package deliveries, if you online shop, like us!
