Hitchin' Post RV Park Reviews
I recently stayed here for 3 weeks, while working in McPherson. They were very accommodating. My site stayed puddle free, even after plenty of rain. There was little to no highway noise. There was an occasional train. The train didn't seem to have a schedule so it never bothered me.There is also a great diner and bakery right across the street.Very conveniently located between Hutchinson and Wichita. They have very nice laundry facilities, but don't forget your quarters. The only thing missing wer the trees! I personally love to have trees where I stay. Unfortunately, this isn't real common because of the dangers to the RV roofs.I would definitely stay here again!!!
Apr 18, 2019 · Curt MarshallGreat little hidden gem of an RV park. Free WiFi that's actually decent most of the time, a little laundry room with showers though I've not used the latter. The owner, Kurt, is prompt with any issues. There is a train that passes occasionally, maybe once a day that doesn't bother us.
Oct 02, 2019 · Channel NoMoreWe enjoyed our short stay at the Hitchin' Post RV Park. The park is a great value, right off the highway, very quiet and full hookups were a plus. The park itself is clean, as well as the bathrooms. Nothing fancy, but we don't need fancy. (The park offers free wi-fi, although we didn't use that.) We hope to return.
Jul 09, 2018 · Leslie LeMasterI did an overnight here with plans to tour the salt mine. I got luck as only one site open. Lots of traveling construction workers using park at the moment. Wifi was usable bit sometimes flaky. It is 25$ for full hookups. I didn't check out the showers but it does have a small laundry.
Sep 10, 2019 · Crabby AcresExactly what you need if you are passing through or wanting to live inexpensively: low priced fees, full amenities (sewer, electric, and water), and showers/toilets. The Carriage House restaurant is walking distance...great food!
