This personal touch often translates into a deeper understanding of guest needs and a commitment to quality.
However, it's also important to provide a balanced perspective for prospective visitors. While many aspects are highly praised, some guests have noted a significant level of ambient noise from nearby transportation and long-term residents. This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and factual overview of Hidden Creek RV Resort, helping Texans make an informed decision for their next RV adventure or extended stay in the Bryan/College Station area. Let's delve into the details that define this Central Texas RV destination.
Hidden Creek RV Resort is strategically located at 5780 E State Hwy 21, Bryan, TX 77808, USA. This address places the resort on State Highway 21, a significant east-west corridor in Texas, ensuring direct and relatively easy access for RVers. The park's proximity to Bryan and College Station is a major advantage, as these twin cities form a dynamic hub in Central Texas, offering a wide array of educational, cultural, and recreational opportunities, largely centered around Texas A&M University.
The accessibility of Hidden Creek RV Resort from State Highway 21 makes navigation straightforward for RVs of various sizes. Its location allows guests convenient access to both Bryan and College Station, meaning that essential services like grocery stores, diverse dining options, healthcare facilities, and entertainment venues are all within a short driving distance. This balance of being just outside the immediate urban rush while still enjoying easy access to city amenities is often ideal for RV travelers seeking a comfortable and practical base.
However, prospective guests should be aware that the park's proximity to active transportation routes, including "planes, trains, and lots of trucks," and a "busy road out front," contributes to a higher noise level at all hours. While this is a trade-off for the convenient location, the good news is that the park is easily reachable and provides excellent access to everything the Bryan/College Station area has to offer, from university events to local businesses and attractions.

If peace and quite is what your looking for you won't find it here! Planes, Trains and lots of trucks at all hours of day & night. The busy road out front keeps the noise level high. Lots of full timers who work near by who help add to the noise level. The grounds are kept very nice, water pressure and power are good. We stayed here a month and was very happy to leave insearch of quite.
Jun 10, 2025 · Brian GoebelOne of the most amazing places we have stayed!! Their cabins are wonderful. The staff is polite, courteous, and extremely friendly. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. The grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained. We loved the fact that it is locally owned by life long Bryan/College Station residences. A fabulous way to support the local economy. We can't wait to return soon!
Jul 12, 2019 · Anita JohnsonWe have maintained a second home here year-round now for a year and a half. Our son and daughter-in-law attend grad school here, and we live about a twelve hour drive away. Nevertheless, we attempt to visit for a couple of weeks at a time, 6-8 times per year. We tired of hotels when visiting, so we moved our camper here year around.I’m more of a “glamper” than a camper, so Hidden Creek RV Resort meets our needs well. One thing I wanted was a safe campground. This one is gated after 6pm. Additionally, the Bath/Laundry House building is open 24/7 and has reinforced bathroom/shower areas for tornado/severe storm protection. There is a pool table, ping pong table and a small exercise room with some nice machines as well. The baths/showers/laundry/exercise areas are kept very clean, as are the grounds which are mowed and trimmed regularly. The concrete pads are long, level, and wide giving you a nice “patio” space and room to park a couple of vehicles. The roads are wide, too, making backing into your spot a little easier. The pool area is large, clean, and inviting with a hot tub, shaded patio with tables and fans, outside restroom, TV, and other activities. There is a playground and play field. There is also a pond and nature walk area at the rear of the property. I included some photos taken there mid-April ‘23. The clubhouse is nice. I often walk down for a coffee or hot chocolate on my laundry days. During Aggie football season, they have nice, free events and food before the home games which we have really enjoyed. It’s fun getting to know the staff and other campers a bit better at these events. There are also two nice dog run areas. Cabins can be rented here, too. I’ve only seen photos of the inside, but they look very nice. Garbage is picked up daily, and there is curbside propane pickup/refill.A few things that don’t bother us, but others may want to know: This campground is on a major four lane highway and next to a small airport, and there’s noise from both at times. It can also be a bit challenging to drive out of the resort at high traffic times (4:00-7:00pm), but if you’re patient, a break in the traffic will come. If the noise might bother you, they have opened a new section further from the road you might like. There is not a lot of shade here yet, but trees are planted and growing, so someday! Book early for TAMU Football season (Aug-Dec) since it really fills up on those weekends! This campground is a bit more expensive, but the amenities are very nice. We have looked at many other campgrounds, and what we’ve seen out there doesn’t compare to Hidden Creek.
Apr 18, 2023 · Lori WillisGreat place in college station - Bryan to relax. Very safe with great water pressure, clean power, and well lit. I felt safe walking my dog all hours of the night. Plenty of space for 5th wheel, tow vehicle, & multiple slide outs. Spots are paved and level with some spots shaded (not many). Laundry, bathrooms, & showers are spotless! We have stayed her multiple times over the past 2 years...
Sep 21, 2022 · Elizabeth WoodStayed last minute for 1 night just to break up a roadtrip, and booked only an hour before arriving. I was a little nervous they had so many options at booking for a pull-thru site, but after staying there realize it is truly a hidden gem!Super friendly Manager checked on us and made us feel welcome immediately. Excellent facilities- very clean and well maintained, pool was refreshing and there is a covered area with a TV facing the pool and a speaker you can connect to as well. The clubhouse was perfect to entertain our two boys (13 and 8) later in the evening with some basketball and Jenga. Our GSP enjoyed the two gated dog runs and we appreciated the dog bath available, even though we did not get to use it this time.As we are planning our return trip, and/or future routes through Bryan/ College Station- this place is certainly top on the list!* a note for those wanting some shade/ trees- look for spots open at the very back of the campground. That’s where the experts parked (not us rookies)! :)
