Herring RV and Mobile Village Reviews
Such a nice place! The office people are so friendly and helpful. The sites were large and the bathrooms were clean. It was a nice, quiet family campground. We wished we could have stayed longer!
Oct 29, 2024 · Anita McManusIt's nice, however they won't let any campers that are over 10 years old, Which i understand completely, however, when you're gonna place those kind of rules, you need to look around the whole park and make sure what you're asking for is in place cause there are some R vs out there that are nasty and a whole lot older and falling apart. I understand their rules, but if they're going to make rules, they should make it for the whole park
Sep 24, 2024 · Donna PresleyWe stayed at Herring RV and Mobile village for a little over a year and a half. This place is affordable and quiet, has an office, laundry on site, and shower/restroom. You can pay with card or cash (card option added while we were there). Plumbing for the campers needs to be upgraded and during the summer you definitely need fly traps, but all in all we really enjoyed being in our cozy spot away from the city. Spectrum is available here for your tv/internet needs so that was a nice plus. Our spot had a view of the woods and had shade from the tree next to our site. We had some fantastic neighbors that always offered to help where they could if we needed anything.
Aug 24, 2020 · SSLove this place, very reasonable price. People were very kind to me and my kids. Campground was fairly quiet, had kids playing occasionally and people just going to and from work. I felt safe here with my kids as I am a single mother. Would definitely stay here again when I come back through. Thanks!
Jul 07, 2020 · Becca FordI can't say enough good things about this park, it's owner and office manager. I'm dismayed that it got any 1 star reviews. Steve Herring was a great landlord and so is the office manager. I've lived out here for almost 5 years and I love it. I came from a campground where you had to take your own trash to the dumpster and weed eat around your camper and worry that you'll be charged an arm and a leg if you go over a certain amount of energy usage. When I moved here from there I was so excited when I saw I had my own trash container. They also have a full lawn service which includes weed eating around your camper! Steve had an office built with a laundry room and bath house to make life easier on us and with commercial dryers you can dry two loads at a time. He just recently had our road paved. When the office was completed he had a bbq for the whole park to celebrate and for Christmas he gives those that are alone or living on social security a huge fruit basket. The park does have mobile homes as well as rv's that for the most part are full time. We do have contractor's that come for a few weeks or months and then they move on. The park has a lot of places to walk. It's quiet and peaceful out here and feels more like a neighborhood. The campers are situated where you are not staring at someone's sewage hoses when you walk out the door and the lots are huge compared to other campgrounds. After the office, laundry and bath house were complete we were all given all of the rules and regulations in order to provide those who live here not only a clean nice park, but also to provide a safe place to live. As I see it, if you follow the rules and regulations there is no reason in the world not have a good relationship with the owner or office manager.
