Happy Traveler R.V. Park Reviews
Not a great campground, not very appealing, needs some TLC! We were there several years ago, was in better condition, then. The lady night manager is very nice and helpful. The pool is nice. Close to downtown shopping/restaurants in Palm Springs. The only reason we stayed, it was very close to family. Laundry room, very hot, has a vent, felt no air coming out. No grass in park, had to drive a block away, to walk my dog. Would probably not stay again.
Jun 15, 2025 · Susan WExcellent downtown location within walking distance of the Main Street area. Sites are compact but all concrete. Washrooms/Showers are okay but clean. Service at check in was superb. This will be our go to spot on future Palm Springs visits.
Mar 04, 2025 · Cindy FullerIf you have an RV and want to be close to downtown Palm springs, this is the only place to be at. Unfortunately, for $100 a night, you only get the luxury of the location and mountain view. The lots are tight and the quality has much to desire for. The dump drain nearly backed up on us and the electrical could possibly be updated. The plants could use some watering as well.As you park into your lot, be careful. There's cars in the road making for right maneuvering. In our lot, there was a random picnic table that didn't help us out at all.Happy RV only takes cash or check. There have been reported theft for bikes, so make sure you have got that locked up as there's no park gates for added security.
Mar 02, 2025 · Emily LynnLocation was great. The workers were nice, especially Gertie. The deferred maintenance is awful. Everything was rundown. Photos online do not represent this park. I personally saw people arrive who had reservations, and immediately leave. This is by far, the most disappointing R.V. park I have stayed at. Dead plants, dirty throughout, worn out pool area, cracked pavement, many full time residents with dilapidated rigs, gross clubhouse, and hookups are worn out. We were made to sign a waiver that they are not liable for us connecting to their power. Seriously??? Rather than a waiver, why don't they fix their power? I could go on. Stay anywhere else, unless all you care about is a great location.
Jun 08, 2025 · Gary SteinbergThis is an older RV park. There are no rooms. Managers are friendly and pleasant. It is so close to downtown Palm Springs. Quiet park. If you want to be close to downtown this is it
