Half Moon Bay RV Park Reviews
Was a really awful experience for me and my 3 children. We called ahead and booked, notified her we were in a converted schoolie. No issues she booked us in. We woke up to her banging at the door telling us we had 15 minutes to leave. I asked if we could book another night she said no way.My son went to have a shower in that 15 minute time frame, she came and told him he had to leave or she was charging us another night. Her and someone else stared at us in a golf cart until we pulled out. Was humiliating and just not nice for me and my babies to experience. It takes so much effort to be rude, and little effort to be kind. Treating us as though we were unwelcome was just so uncomfortable. We called ahead to pelican point, where the lady was so kind and welcomed us with open arms and smiles. She loved our schoolie and was so kind to my kids ot made up for the awful lady at the half moon bay rv park . Please support the kindness and pelican bay and forget the half moon bay rv.Pelican bay is not only more private sites, but they have very kind staff and a beautiful view of the ocean 😍
Apr 23, 2025 · Danielle leeGreat people and a great location. Cellular reception is spotty in a few areas, but in my two spaces it was fine. There are no trees or other obstacles to block reception if you have starlink. Utilities including electric are included in the rent which is great - not that you'll be using AC all that much if at all, how's the location is really close to the beach. There are lots of trails nearby. Sites are generously sized which is rare in this area, and the whole park is perfectly level. The other campers were all friendly even if many do keep to themselves. Despite not having an age restriction , all the RVs appeared well-kept and people's setups all looked great (perhaps owing to price being on the higher end - but not obscene). Can't say enough nice things about the employees, they really made my short stay extremely pleasant. Perhaps I'll come back here one day for a longer stay.
Apr 18, 2025 · R. BoltonNice RV park in a beautiful location has a pub beside it which was just OK fairly basic food. My biggest issue with this resort was the amount of cats running around made for a very unpleasant stay for my dog. All of the staff drive around with cans of cat food in the back of their golf carts. It may be a cat culture here, but they should at least let you know. Big-time full-time resident Campground. Seemed quite communal didn’t really have any use for outsiders like us. Bathrooms were just OK paint falling off walls, giving the appearance of being dirty, even if it was clean.
Apr 10, 2024 · Mike WulffNice park. Mostly quiet. Just occasional dogs barking but there were only 2. Owners would just put them outside and leave them. Other than that management is good. Nice people. It’s clean. Power goes out frequently and water rarely. Be prepared to dry camp. Generators only allowed from I believe 8am-10pm. So again, be prepared to run fridge on 12v and LP. You can receive packages but not mail. There is a passcode protected mail room. I like it because it’s available 24/7. Don’t have to wait for office to open. There’s no general store or restaurant available at the property but town is literally about 1-1/2 miles away. Grocery stores, coffee shops, gas stations etc. And there is also a pub/restaurant at the east end of the block. You could walk from park entrance to front door would be maybe 3 minutes. Likely less. Overall good place. But very expensive. Hope this helps.
Feb 09, 2025 · Boom DaddyGreat RV park the staff is very friendly and the lots are pretty spacious.. it is a bit pricey but the surrounding area are beautiful. Very nice place to keep an RV the weather is always cool and great for sleeping no AC required all the lots come with electricity included.
