Glory RV Park is located at 5037 County Rd 348, Brazoria, TX 77422, USA. This address places it in the rural heart of Brazoria, a community within Brazoria County, Texas. Its location is described as being "tucked back about 4 miles back off 36 in Brazoria," suggesting a setting that offers a degree of seclusion and peace away from the main thoroughfares.
Despite being somewhat secluded, the park's accessibility from State Highway 36 is relatively straightforward, allowing RVers to reach it without significant navigation challenges. Brazoria County itself is known for its agricultural roots and proximity to the Gulf Coast, providing a unique blend of country living with access to coastal recreational opportunities. While immediate amenities within walking distance may be limited due to its rural setting, essential services such as grocery stores, gas stations, and local businesses in Brazoria and nearby towns are within a reasonable driving distance. For instance, more extensive shopping and dining options might be found in slightly larger towns like Angleton or Lake Jackson.
The park's location offers a peaceful environment for those who appreciate quiet surroundings. It allows residents and visitors to enjoy the tranquility of rural Texas while still being connected to necessary supplies and the broader regional attractions of Brazoria County, including fishing spots, natural areas, and potentially historical sites. This balance of peaceful retreat and practical accessibility makes Glory RV Park a viable option for those seeking a tranquil and affordable base in this part of Texas.
Glory RV Park focuses on delivering essential services that cater to the fundamental needs of RVers, particularly those seeking affordable, long-term stays. The emphasis appears to be on simplicity and value, rather than extensive amenities often found in larger resorts.
- Utilities Included: A major highlight is that the monthly rent, priced at $390, includes utilities. This comprehensive pricing simplifies budgeting for residents, as it covers electricity, water, and sewer, eliminating the need to manage separate utility bills.
- RV Sites with Hookups: The park provides dedicated RV sites equipped with the necessary hookups for electricity (likely 30/50 amp), water, and sewer, ensuring a functional living space for all RV types.
- Garbage Services: While not explicitly detailed, standard RV park operations would include provisions for waste disposal, contributing to the overall cleanliness of the park.
- Pet-Friendly Environment: The park welcomes dogs and cats, with a notable mention that pets are "welcome to stay outside untied or fenced," indicating a relaxed policy for well-behaved animals, which is a significant advantage for pet owners.
It is important to note that, as a more budget-friendly option, certain amenities such as on-site Wi-Fi are not provided, as explicitly stated by a past resident. Prospective guests should factor this into their planning, especially if connectivity is a critical requirement. The services are geared towards providing a straightforward and cost-effective solution for RV living in Brazoria.
Glory RV Park distinguishes itself through several key features and highlights, particularly appealing to those seeking an affordable and low-key RV experience in Texas.
- Competitive Monthly Pricing with Utilities Included: A significant highlight is the affordable monthly rate of $390, which includes all utilities. This transparent and comprehensive pricing model makes budgeting simple and represents a considerable value for long-term RV stays, especially when compared to other options where utilities are separate.
- Generally Quiet Atmosphere: The park is described as "quiet for the most part," offering a peaceful environment that is conducive to relaxation. While occasional neighborly activities like bonfires and music may occur, they are described as enjoyable and "nothing crazy," suggesting a balanced community vibe.
- Friendly and Fair Management: The manager is praised for being "nice and will treat you fairly," which is a crucial aspect for a positive long-term living experience. This indicates a supportive approach to residents.
- Pet-Friendly Policies: The park's relaxed stance on pets, allowing them "untied or fenced" outside if well-behaved, is a huge benefit for RVers traveling with their furry companions. It fosters a comfortable environment for both pets and their owners.
- Community of Respectful Neighbors: Residents are noted to "all kept to themselves" but are also capable of enjoying shared moments like bonfires without disruption. This suggests a respectful and generally harmonious community dynamic.
- "Neat Little Place": Overall, the park is described as a "neat little place to stay," implying a clean, tidy, and well-maintained environment despite its simpler offerings.
However, it is crucial to address the significant negative feedback regarding a "maintenance man" who allegedly stole items and damaged property. This isolated but serious incident, if accurate, points to a potential issue with individual staff conduct that prospective residents should be aware of. The lack of on-site Wi-Fi is also a factor to consider for those requiring internet access. Despite these points, the park's core appeal lies in its affordability, quiet setting, and flexible pet policy.

Glory RV Park Reviews
Priced right at $390 a month utilities included. Tucked back about 4 miles back off 36 in Brazoria. Quiet for the most part unless the neighbors (who all kept to themselves) made a bonfire and listened to music, which we rather enjoyed cuz who doesn't like music? Nothing crazy. We enjoyed our 3 months there during the pandemic. No wifi, which we missed but the much lower price made it worth it. Our dog was welcome to stay outside untied or fenced as she and all the neighbor dogs/cats were well behaved and stayed to themselves. Overall a neat little place to stay.
May 20, 2020 · Susan A MathewsGood Price All bills are included manager is nice and will treat you fairly .The only problem I had was from there maintenance man.I was heretold I could store some of my stuff he even helped me carry the things I wanted to store over to barn .Then without any kind of notice he took all my th place ings and threw them in front of my rv breaking anything that was breakable but he kept my wet vac and my pressure washer and a wooden futon he gave me .If you move there I suggest you watch your children very carefully because there you don't know who your neighbor really is people can be decietful there and I suggest you lock up anything you want to keep because the man they hire to take care of the will steal from you and act like he is your best friend .
Aug 07, 2021 · Rebecca RichardsI currently rent an rv spot here. The owner, Mr. Ken Corley is one of the best landlords I've ever had and i love the location. We aren't too far from town but we are off the main road to where there isn't too much traffic. It's nice and quiet.
