Galveston RV Resort and Marina Reviews
Would not stay here again. There are too many other great options in Galveston.30 amp didn’t work (thankfully we had a converter to use the 50amp)There’s Only one working shower in the ladies room. (One shower drains so slowly you’re standing in 5 inches of water hoping not to flood the bathroom- the other shower has no hardware the pipes are capped off)Extra fee of $25 for having a dog (there’s no dog park or special accommodations for animals so not sure why they charge extra for a dog to hang out in my own camper)Pool rules are so picky the staff went out of their way to confront my very sun burnt husband for wearing a fisherman’s shirt in the pool while he swam with our 5 year old. Not sure why that was an issue and they wanted him shirtless. Super odd interaction. (There’s a no street clothes sign-which I guess means no modesty/extra cover ups like a shirt vs our interpretation of no jeans, sleep clothes, shoes, bra/underwear etc)There’s a no jumping rule at the pool- really takes the fun away for kids. I understand no diving in 5ft of water but the no jumping in just feels unwelcoming for kids. CANNON BALL (Did I mention they charged us extra for our kids?!)The dryers caught the strings on our clothes and damaged a couple items. On a positive note- the bayou has great fishing and Galveston has a lot to offer.
Jun 23, 2025 · Amber FlanneryWe rented the 2 bedroom apartment above the office and it was great. The unit was bright and cheerful. Perfect for our family of 4 and fit 8 just fine for one night. The views off the deck were great and the hosts are amazing. The only downside is that it is about a 10 minute drive to the seawall blvd attractions. If we ever come back to Galveston, we will surely stay here again.
Apr 01, 2025 · Missie BlairThis RV park is small but very well kept. The area that could use an upgrade is the restrooms. While they are kept clean, they are well worn. The ladies room stalls had no closures. The office staff couldn't have been nicer. The only negatives would be that there is no Internet or cable boxes, and it is about a mile and a half to any beach. We like to walk out dogs, and we had to walk a lot of busy roads to get to the sea wall beach. We really enjoyed our site (C-15), which was beside a small bay with seagulls and herons. It would have been nice to spend the evening beside a fire and use some of the firewood for sale there, but there were no fire pits/rings.
Mar 06, 2025 · tammy silvisMy daughter and I took my grandson for 3-day stay. It was a wonderful experience and we found the park to be easy to find easy to get into and in very good shape. During our stay my grandson was able to catch a 21 in redfish. It was his first big fish and he had a blast. We will be back
Mar 21, 2025 · Shannon RosierLots of work done recently! We stayed in the monthly spots. Nice concrete pad. The sites are narrow. I have a Class A 34 foot unit. I could not open my awning more than half way without touching the camper next to me. The daily spaces are a little more spread out but this was the best value for us for this trip. Office staff are awesome and long term residents very friendly. Nice little pool and hot tub. Location perfect for exploring Galveston.
