Fullview Mobile Home Park

2030 Vance Tank Rd, Bluff City, TN 37618, USA

3.0
We've lived here for 7 years, and every single year in August, the lot rent increases by $40 to $60. This year, not only is it going up another $40, but now they're also charging separately for trash pickup. So basically, nothing is included in the rent anymore. On top of that, there’s still no playground or anything for the kids to play on — nothing has been added or improved in all the time we’ve been here. It’s honestly ridiculous how much they charge for these small lots, especially when the community gets nothing in return. - Heather Ball

For many residents across Tennessee, the search for accessible and stable housing is an ongoing priority. Mobile home parks, also known as manufactured home communities, often present a viable and more budget-conscious alternative to traditional housing markets. They can offer a unique sense of community and a more independent living style compared to apartment complexes. Fullview Mobile Home Park, located in Bluff City, Tennessee, is one such community that serves the housing needs of individuals and families in the region. Understanding the specifics of what a mobile home park offers is crucial for prospective residents in Tennessee to make informed decisions about their living arrangements.

Mobile home parks have evolved over time, providing a range of living environments from basic to amenity-rich. They typically involve residents owning their manufactured homes and leasing the land on which their homes are situated. This model can often lead to lower overall housing costs compared to traditional homeownership. Location and Accessibility

Fullview Mobile Home Park is located at 2030 Vance Tank Rd, Bluff City, TN 37618, USA. Bluff City is a town in Sullivan County, in the northeastern part of Tennessee. Situated in the beautiful Appalachian Highlands, Bluff City offers a scenic environment with access to various regional attractions and larger population centers.

The park's location on Vance Tank Road provides access to local roads that connect to major thoroughfares. Bluff City is well-positioned with relatively easy access to U.S. Route 11E and Interstate 81. This connectivity is significant for residents, as it allows for convenient travel to nearby larger cities. Bristol, known for the Bristol Motor Speedway and its vibrant downtown, is just a short drive away to the northeast. Johnson City, a larger regional hub with extensive shopping, dining, medical facilities, and educational institutions (including East Tennessee State University), is also readily accessible to the southwest. This geographic advantage means residents of Fullview Mobile Home Park can enjoy the quieter pace of Bluff City while still having convenient access to urban amenities and employment opportunities.

Services Offered

Mobile home parks primarily offer the fundamental service of lot leasing, where residents rent the land for their manufactured homes. While the specific level of services and their inclusion in rent can vary significantly between communities, standard services generally provided or facilitated by mobile home parks include:

  • Lot Leasing: The primary service, providing a designated plot of land for the placement of a manufactured home.
  • Utility Hook-ups: Typically, the park provides the necessary infrastructure for individual homes to connect to essential utilities such as electricity, water, and sewer services. Residents are generally responsible for their direct utility consumption and corresponding payments to service providers, or sometimes a flat rate for certain utilities may be included in the lot rent. Based on customer reviews, it appears that at Fullview Mobile Home Park, water is not included in the rent, and trash pickup is charged separately.
  • Road Maintenance: The internal roads within the mobile home park are usually maintained by the park management to ensure accessibility and safety for residents.
  • Community Management: Management is responsible for overseeing the park's operations, enforcing community rules and regulations, and addressing resident concerns. However, some reviews indicate challenges with management accessibility and communication at Fullview Mobile Home Park.
  • Trash Pickup: While some parks may include this in lot rent, customer reviews suggest that Fullview Mobile Home Park charges separately for trash pickup.
