Fountainvue Community is situated at 121 Fountainvue Dr, La Fontaine, IN 46940, USA. La Fontaine itself is a small town located in Wabash County, Indiana. This location offers residents a taste of quiet, small-town life, characteristic of many communities in rural Indiana.
La Fontaine is known for its historic downtown and features many small businesses, older homes, and quiet streets. It’s conveniently positioned between the larger cities of Wabash and Marion, offering a balance between peaceful living and access to broader services. This makes Fountainvue Community potentially appealing to those who prefer a less urbanized environment but still need to reach larger towns for work, shopping, or specialized services.
From Fountainvue Drive, residents would have relatively easy access to the main roads within La Fontaine. The town's small size means that essential local services are generally within a short driving distance. For more extensive amenities such as major retail chains, a wider variety of restaurants, and healthcare facilities, residents would likely travel to Wabash or Marion. These cities provide a more comprehensive range of options typically not found in a smaller town like La Fontaine.
The accessibility of the community largely relies on personal vehicle transportation, which is common for smaller Indiana towns. While specific public transit options directly serving Fountainvue Community are not typically a feature in areas of this size, the quiet residential streets offer a navigable environment for local movement. The overall setting provides a tranquil backdrop for living, connecting residents to the broader Wabash County area with relative ease.
Based on the limited public information and resident reviews, the primary service offered by Fountainvue Community, like most mobile home parks, is the provision of lots for manufactured homes. Residents either own their mobile homes and rent the land, or in some cases, rent the home directly from the park management.
Services Offered:
- Mobile Home Lot Rentals: The core service would be the rental of individual plots of land where residents can place their manufactured homes. This allows for a more affordable housing option compared to traditional homeownership in many areas.
- General Infrastructure: The park is responsible for maintaining shared infrastructure such as internal roads and utility hookups to each lot. While reviews suggest concerns about overall property care, the fundamental service of providing these connections and access points remains.
- Community Management: The presence of owners and a "guy that takes care of it" (park staff/manager) indicates that there is a management structure in place to oversee the community's operations and interact with residents, even if these interactions have been a source of contention for some.
Based on the provided resident reviews, the notable features and highlights of Fountainvue Community are primarily derived from resident perceptions rather than formally advertised amenities. It’s important to note that these points reflect direct feedback, which can be subjective.
Features / Highlights:
- Potential for Quiet Living (Contextual): While not explicitly stated as a feature by the park, La Fontaine itself is a small, quiet town. This geographical characteristic might contribute to a generally less bustling environment compared to urban settings, which could be seen as a positive for some residents seeking peace.
- Affordable Housing Option: As a mobile home park in a smaller Indiana town, Fountainvue Community likely offers a more budget-friendly housing solution compared to traditional homes, appealing to those seeking affordability.
- Independent Living Style: Residing in a mobile home park typically provides residents with a greater sense of independence and privacy than apartment living, as they often have their own structure and a small plot of land.
It is important to acknowledge that the provided reviews mention significant concerns regarding the park's upkeep and management, stating that "the owners don't care how the property looks or the care of the park" and noting "a lot of drama, and favoritism, not took care of the right way." These are critical points for any prospective resident to consider, as they directly impact the living experience and the overall quality of the community.

Nov 19, 2024 · Erma GroverIt's a lot of drama, and favoritism, not took care of the right way, The guy that takes care of it lier and a back stabber. I can go on about a lot of things that goes on but all I will say I will never live there again even if it was free....

Apr 12, 2024 · Cindy Martin PenningtonThis little community is an awsome place to live...no ! Really it is.... It's quiet and the people are awesome... If you ever get a chance please come visit.....or make it your home too 😊
Jan 22, 2019 · lolita terryThis seemingly desolate wasteland of a trailer park is a glimpse of what it once was. It's unclear the direction the park manager is taking. Most Mobile Homes are gone and it seemed it was closing, but with the addition of a new home and the construction trailer there might be a revival. Either way the management is intrusive, rude, and loves to constantly drive around the park and through yards even to "monitor" the park. Although it seems more out of beer induced boredom and being nosy. The only benefit is the open space, large yards, location and pricing.
