Flying Saucer RV Park Reviews
We arrived late in the evening without a reservation, not realizing most campgrounds in the area close early. Every place was full or shut down, and we were starting to get pretty stressed. Then, by pure luck, we ran into the amazing woman who runs this campground. She could’ve easily turned us away, but instead she went out of her way to help us, found us the very last spot, and took the time to walk us through everything. The facilities are simple, but her kindness and hospitality were truly exceptional. That kind of generosity deserves five stars. Thank you so much!
Jun 11, 2025 · LThis is a ~50 dollar RV park in Denver—you get 50 dollar service. We had to have a late arrival and the lady was kind enough to let us email the required documents as we would arrive after hours. We booked an electric site but when we back in, there was a padlock on the sites pedestal. We tried to call the number on the papers but no one answered—so unfortunately we had to go without. And though we were considering a second night, we opted to continue with the trip. The bathrooms were boiling hot inside and could use a deep clean. You can also share some loving eye contact with the bathroom stall next to you while you’re going #2 if you so choose.All-in-all, the park was quiet. Getting checked in after hours was fine. It gets the job done.
Apr 13, 2025 · VDms_Fraud alert! I made a reservation and drove from Texas to my surprise to find that they had given our spot to someone else. We spoke to an uneducated female with poor people skills who told us that we told her to go to hell, which we didn’t. We have witnesses who confirm this, so she called the cops to remove us from her property after she had taken my money. They are scammers; they don’t have a set price. I spoke to several people with the same setup that we have, and everybody has a different price.
Jun 16, 2025 · Juan C RodriguezAnna the manager is very rude. I had all the things she said to bring including the paperwork, heat tape for the water hose, an insulated bucket for the water spicket, etc. So I kindly said "no big deal, I have all that" and she proceeded to tell me why it is a big deal and lectured me about their water system getting frozen to the point where I felt put off and disrespected rather than feeling welcome. I'm glad that this dump showed their true colors before I finalized my stay. Never had someone talk to me like that before, after more than 2.5 years on the road living full time.It may be that she is like this to everyone, or it may be that the park is full of nasty people who make her miserable, but either way, not a friendly place to stay. Seemed more interested in lecturing me before I even arrived, rather than welcoming me as a customer. Don't waste your time here. Keep looking. The owners response below shows that they rather continue to blame others than improve their own customer service. Very telling.
Feb 18, 2025 · Doug McConnaughhayEveryone warned us about these people but we didn't listen. Late check in, when we arrived they booked someone else without even a phone call or heads up and since the office was closed they didnt care they just doubled charged 2 different customers to make money and they're excuse was OFFICE IS CLOSED AND HAD TO GIVE OUR SPOT TO SOMEONE ELSE THAT WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH THEIR SPOT.SO I asked the office manager "and what about us, the hell with us?" So she proceeded to threaten us to leave or she would call cops so now we all know how they make their money, double booking.I am from Texas and I am warning everyone out there looking for an RV spot DO NOT TRY THIS ONE no matter how desperate you are, not worth it. Very rude with no people skills education. We did apologize to the people that were in our spot since it wasn't their fault that the facility wanted to just take their money.Simple phone call or communication would have solved this problem but as everyone that has had bad experiences there said to us...DO NOT TRUST THEM and here we are trying to give the site a chance backfiring on us, what a joke!
