Florence AL RV Park & Resort Reviews
Hank and Charlotte are very warm and inviting. They began this resort just two years ago and seem to be adding new wonderful features as they grow. The heated saltwater pool has a great design for seniors and children alike, I practiced water aerobics for an hour after dark in the month of April and had no issues with the temp. Very quiet, clean, easy to navigate resort with open shower houses and complimentary laundry facilities (that's a wonderful amenity). The 6,000 sq ft dog park is excellent, shade trees in the dog park are coming soon, as I understand. The price per day is an excellent value especially with the complimentary laundry and double lot size of each campsite. I'll be staying again in the near future on my next visit. Only item I would improve is the access road to the park needs attention from the county road department to trim the trees back at the beginning and end of the road but you can certainly pull in with no issues, just look up when entering highway 23. The traffic county is low on this road so it's very peaceful. Great access to all aspects of the local community with stores and activities VERY close. Their poor palm trees were frozen during this recent winter storm and they will be planting new trees throughout the resort in the future. Sites 1-9 on the north end have shade from 3:30 to dusk. The neighbors chickens are a quaint charm that I did enjoy the sounds of in the morning time. The wildlife was also enjoyable with the birds singing in the large mature trees that surround the edges of the property. Overall, great experience!
Apr 30, 2024 · Travis Ray TurnerWe had a great visit at this RV park. While it is only 2 years old, a great deal of planning and expense has spent by the owners to ensure a great experience. The pool is very nice and the bathrooms are well-kept and clean. A fenced dog park is large and a real treat for the fury campers. The owners, Hank and Charlotte are personable and professional. They live at the park and are available if needed.Safe and family oriented for an excellent experience. K. Kirk
May 28, 2024 · Kay KirkNice rv park with nice sized sites in a convenient location. Only a short drive to Florence. The campground is still in development but nice considering that. Sites have a concrete pad. Our site, #14 required a reasonable amount of side to side leveling. Has a small pool, very clean bath house, a fenced dog park and laundry. Hank, one of the owners, bleeds a high level of the hospitality and kindness I experience every time I'm in Alabama. Will stay again if we're ever back in the area.
Jul 06, 2024 · Brandon PriestThe campground is very clean and it's a pretty new campground. The owner really takes pride in keeping up with everything and all the sites are modern level sites. The pool was heated on a few cool nights that we were in it. People are very nice and the campground is quiet we would definitely be interested in coming back here againThanks! Hank
Jul 30, 2024 · Kat TaylorWe recently spent four nights at this RV resort. Many positives! The owners, Hank and Charlotte, are very nice and responsive. The resort is new and only has 14 spots now, but another dozen are under construction. And they have plans for 20 more spots and a lazy river to go along with their current nice pool. Very reasonably priced per night. Spots are wide and concrete. There is a nice dog park, but it was a little over-grown. Needs some weed control and mowing. A nice rock area and palm trees separate each spot, but the rocks are full of weeds - needs a little maintenance. As mentioned, there is a dog park but there isn’t any real green space for walking dogs - a lot of gravel. Hopefully as the resort grows there will be more green space. Overall a very good experience with the resort located in a quiet area. Will definitely consider staying here again if back in the Florence area.
