Flaming Arrow Campground & RV Reviews
I had the pleasure to stay on the grounds camping for a entire summer here. It's a old school camp ground feel. Very quiet at night and a peaceful place in general. Clean property, restrooms and showers. I see alot of negative reviews on here about the owners. There's a trend on those reviews... which mostly looks like a bunch of unruly children which I've seen there and they will not be tolerated if they're damaging property which happens often when they're left unattended. I've seen it all there this year and I loved the place. I guess people who go outside the lines these days expect some high end treatment... The owners have rules to ensure every camper there can enjoy the property and they won't tolerate any nonsense. And obviously don't trust that review about the metal merry go round... He definitely wasn't a 90s kid 🤣 Fire wood there is bone dry as well.
Feb 10, 2025 · Lazy Dog OutfittersI've been coming to this campground for nearly 9 years. We have stayed here mostly in tents. We have never had a bad experience here. I am surprised that other reviews claim that staff is rude. I have never had issues with the staff. Joanie is the campground owner and lives on site with her son. They have been running this campground for as long as we have been coming. They have welcomed me and my family with open arms each time we visit. I love that they have covered tent sites to provide that extra bit of coverage from weather and rain. I have not found any other campground in the area that can provide that. Her prices are great and its one of the reasons why we keep coming back. She has chickens up on the hill and sells fresh eggs! The prices for firewood is great and she even delivers it to your campsite. She has a good bit of items in her store that can often save the day if you forget something at home. The location is close to everything and wonderful! the property is well maintained. the lawn is kept mowed, the pool is spotless, and the bathrooms get cleaned very regularly. She also updated the washer and dryers not long ago with very nice commercial machines. I would camp here for a whole month if i could! We love you Mrs. Joanie! -Stephanie & Michael Frasier and the kids
Nov 05, 2024 · stephanie fAbsolute love this campground. We as a Family tent camp. And we come here multiple times a year. Joni is so nice and friendly. The shelter sites are prefect for tent campers. Our kids run around and have a great time. They ride their bikes. Play on the playground. Love the teather ball and ping pong table. Of course the pool is a summer time favorite. She has a small camp store if you happened to forget something. Love this place. Always so quite except for when the kids a running around a playing and having fun. That is the best part of camping to get outdoors.
Aug 02, 2024 · Alicha StricklandWe absolutely loved our stay at Flaming Arroow. They had so much for families to do there including the 8ft deep pool. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful campground.
May 27, 2024 · Daniel CI was impressed with the cleanliness of facilities and organization of the owner. Bath houses were spotless. when you arrive they get you backed in and make sure you’re set up. Some of the sites are tricky to get in and out of but she knows her campground well and makes sure you know the ways in and out and the rules and a campground map. There was no question at check in of all the important info you need to know. She took a chance on us being a large group of Coleman collectors she had never met and let us plan an event here. She worked with us very well and was even understanding when we had a few guys arriving a little later than expected due to traffic and schedules. We had an awesome event and I hope that they enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely plan an event here again in the future. There were lots of activities for the kids to do and play, we also were able to use the pavilion and that came in handy for our festivities. Lots of extra chairs we were able to use etc. 10/10 I would recommend for a large group setting or for just a family outing. I plan on coming back with just my family this summer and let the kids enjoy all the place has to offer and camp. Thank you Joni for a wonderful camping experience.
