The resort is designed to be a family-friendly hub, offering a wide array of activities and amenities aimed at ensuring a fun and comfortable stay for all ages.
Customer feedback highlights a generally positive experience, emphasizing the beauty of the location and the quality of the on-site amenities. The resort is acknowledged for its clean restroom and shower facilities and good water pressure, which are essential comforts during any camping trip. However, guests should be aware that, like any large resort, there are different sections, or 'phases,' offering varied experiences. Users note that maintenance on certain elements, such as the patios on some cabins and the jacuzzi, may be necessary at times. The wilderness setting also means that guests must be diligent about not leaving food out, as bear, raccoon, and coyote sightings are possible—a true Pacific Northwest experience.
The resort successfully blends a wilderness feel—especially in its more secluded areas—with the conveniences of a resort, making it a compelling choice for Washingtonians looking for a scenic and amenity-rich coastal getaway.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1***UPDATE***AUGUST 2025VERY PLEASED.HIGHLY RECOMMEND…GREAT PLACE TO CAMP IF YOU WANT WILDERNESS; we had a bear visit our site, however we did leave food out. ***CAMP PROVIDES OPTIONS FOR SITES WITH ELECTRICITY!PLENTY OF CLEAN RESTROOMS & SHOWERS.WATER PRESSURE IS GOOD.The resort offers 3 phases-FIRST PHASE is close to the office with options for mini golf, a park, the pool, deck space, an ocean view from afar, & plenty of private restrooms. Ground is flat & area is not surrounded by many trees more so you are in the open & without shade.SECOND PHASE is a bit above a the hill and has shared restrooms with 2 shower stalls & two toilets. This phase gets pretty packed and is where they seem to put families; so not much privacy. Ground is a bit sloped in some spaces & there are more trees in the perimeters with good shade.PHASE THREE is my favorite. Located in the bluff. Plenty of trees and wilderness. Lots of privacy. No restrooms; but it has a clean porta potty. Ground is a bit sloped in some spaces.Overall the experience was perfect.Outdoor tables, fire pits, & electricity options. There are possibilities of bear sightings and raccoons. I believe I saw a coyote as well. Animals are not aggressive but just passing by and interested in left out food and trash. The area is well divided and easily accessible if you want to roam different areas.Office is firm on leaving times & there is no wifi. Also jacuzzi was shut-down for maintenance. :/
August 25 · Xyz MybRented Cabin 1 with a fantastic view of the ocean. The cabin was nice with electric floor heat but the patio was dangerous falling apart and my foot almost went threw one of the boards. Hottub was out of service. Family stayed in cabin 2 and 3 during the stay and there patios were also just as bad falling apart. You had to be careful where you stepped. Staff was great and the view is great but the park it self is lacking in maintenance. Most likely won't return unless the park gets some upkeep done.
July 17 · Brandon HardistyWe stayed In The first section of the campground. the spaces are REALLY tight with absolutely no privacy. The wooded section of the campground would be much nicer to stay.It is a decent campground. Really quiet.
September 06 · Cheri DorenI wanted to share some feedback about our recent stay in hopes it might help improve the experience for future guests. When we made our reservation, we were told that sites are assigned and that guests are not allowed to reserve specific spots. My husband checked us in and unfortunately felt the staff member he interacted with was condescending. As a Mexican American, he's sadly experienced this type of treatment before, and it was disappointing to see it happen here. When we arrived, the campground was nearly empty, but we were assigned a tight spot in Phase 1, wedged between two other trailers. Our slide-outs were almost touching the trailers on either side, leaving no room for chairs or a table outside, and our picnic table was completely unusable—jammed between two rigs. There were no fire pits either, which added to the limitations. My husband asked me to go back in and see if we could move to Phase 2, which appeared wide open. The staff member I spoke with was much more pleasant with me and explained that everything was booked and they weren’t moving people around. My son, who was with us each time, also noticed the difference in tone and treatment between how my husband and I were spoken to.When I asked what we could do in the future to stay in Phase 2, I was told we could make a note on the reservation—but that requests aren't guaranteed. I followed up by asking how sites are chosen if nothing can be reserved, and again, I was told that things were booked.I understand if certain spots were already promised or reserved by others, but from our perspective, it didn’t make sense why we couldn’t be moved when there were visibly open spots and no specific site reservations were allowed.Additionally, the pool was very run down—rusty and heavily chlorinated. My kids were excited to swim, but once they saw the condition, they opted not to.We had looked forward to this trip, and while we tried to make the most of it, the experience was disappointing. I hope this feedback is helpful and taken in the spirit it’s intended—to support fairness, transparency, and a more welcoming experience for all guests.
July 02 · Nicole De La TorrePool was gross, insulation falling into the cold pool. Hot tub was broken. We called almost year in advance wanting to get spaces together and they put us far away from one another and the spot next to my family was empty all weekend. Too expensive for how run down the place was. The laundry next to our spot was closed and there was old sharpie on the door that said it had been closed for the last 3 years. The bathrooms were gross, no hand soap in the bathroom all weekend.
