★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We stayed at Eagle View RV Resort in Ft. McDowell, AZ in July. It was HOT! I would recommend staying here when the weather is cooler! We did end up having two unseasonably mild days and they were PERFECT!This is a very nice RV Park with a beautiful, clean pool, well-maintained laundry room, and GORGEOUS landscaping. The people who run the park are nice and helpful and very accommodating. We had a lovely view of mountains in every direction, and on our 2 days of cooler weather, we were able to sit out under our awning and lovely shade tree ALL evening and it could not have been more relaxing! We saw wild horses from across the fence that separates the park from the river. The pool has two large shade pavilions, and there are additional pavilions just outside the pool with well-kept grills and picnic tables. Our RV site was site 201 (read this part carefully): Site 201 sits next to a huge shaded area complete with landscaping bushes, and I wouldn't have it any other way. The Arizona sun is not kidding around. It is for real! You want shade. Other sites may have a small tree, and there are plenty of shady areas in the park to walk your dog, but not all sites have trees, and if they do, they are not sufficient to give you enough cover from that damn sun.So, pay attention to the site map, better yet, call and ask about sites they may have available during your stay that have trees. (That is how I got the site I did - thank you, nice lady who chose this one for me based on my request).I will definitely come back during cooler months! We were only here during July because this is when we wanted to visit my daughter (who lives in Scottsdale - 25 25-minute drive away), and this was the only time we could do so.
July 18 · Lenicia GordonGreat RV resort near the casino. Location is great and the spots and surrounding grounds are great. The laundry facilities and pool are top notch. Very quiet as most of the other patrons are snowbirds. If I had one complaint it was the office staff could have a better attitude and be more grateful of the guests. The new GM is great though and I feel he will turn this place around as I can already see some positive changes.
March 07 · Nick VGreat staff, good size sites. Only complaints are that the asphalt is crumbling and hard for my older dog to walk on it. And lots of thorns in her paws. Free ranging cows and wild horses visit regularly. And coyotes.
July 29 · Richard BrownWe absolutely love it here and have been here for two months. The staff is amazing. Views are breathtaking 💕
September 03 · Lynne McKeeAwesome RV park with everything you need. It’s in a beautiful spot close to a lot of places to explore. The staff was great and they went above and beyond to accommodate us last minute.
