Devencrest RV Sales & Services Introduce
For many in Georgia, the appeal of RV living goes beyond mere travel; it represents a lifestyle choice, a flexible housing solution, or a convenient base for work and exploration. An RV park serves as a crucial hub for this community, providing essential services and a place to call home, whether for a brief stopover or an extended period. In Albany, Georgia, Devencrest RV Sales & Services stands as a multi-faceted facility catering to the needs of RV owners and those considering manufactured home living.
Devencrest RV Sales & Services is more than just an RV park; it combines residential space with the practical support of RV sales and services. This dual nature means it can serve a wide range of needs, from providing a spot for your RV to offering new or used RVs for purchase, and even assisting with repairs and maintenance. The concept of an RV park is built around offering a convenient and equipped space for recreational vehicles, typically including sites with utility hookups (water, electricity, and sewer), which allows RVers to enjoy the comforts of their mobile homes. Devencrest extends this by also accommodating manufactured homes in a mobile home park setting, creating a diverse community.
Choosing an RV park, especially for an extended stay, involves considering various factors such as location, amenities, and the overall environment. This article will provide a detailed look into Devencrest RV Sales & Services, exploring its location, the services it offers for both RV and manufactured home residents, and its key features. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive and factual overview to help local users in the Georgia region understand if Devencrest RV Sales & Services aligns with their housing, travel, or service needs.
Devencrest RV Sales & Services is strategically located at 1833 Liberty Expy, Albany, GA 31705, USA. This address places it within Dougherty County, a prominent area in Southwest Georgia. The park's position directly on Liberty Expressway (also known as US-19), a major arterial road in Albany, ensures excellent visibility and ease of access for all types of vehicles, especially larger RVs.
The significance of this location lies in its convenience. Being on Liberty Expressway East means residents and visitors have straightforward access to Albany's wide array of urban amenities. Everyday necessities such as various grocery stores, retail shopping centers, diverse dining establishments, and fueling stations are all within a short and manageable drive. For healthcare needs, Albany is home to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and numerous clinics, all readily accessible from Devencrest.
Moreover, the park's location offers more than just immediate convenience. Its proximity to major roadways facilitates easy travel to other parts of Georgia. Whether residents are commuting for work, planning weekend getaways to explore other areas of the Peach State, or need to connect with family and friends in neighboring towns, the access to main arteries like US-19 is invaluable. This blend of local practicality and broader regional connectivity makes Devencrest RV Sales & Services a well-situated option for both short-term RV stays and long-term mobile home living in the Albany area.
Devencrest RV Sales & Services functions as a multifaceted facility, providing services for both RV travelers and long-term residents in manufactured homes. While the emphasis might vary between the "RV Sales & Services" aspect and the "RV Park/Mobile Home Park" aspect, here are the general services typically offered or associated with such a comprehensive establishment:
- RV Park Sites: Designated spaces for recreational vehicles, generally equipped with full hookups for water, electricity (various amperage options), and sewer connections.
- Manufactured Home Lots: Spaces available for manufactured homes, also with necessary utility connections, catering to long-term residents.
- RV Sales: As indicated by its name, Devencrest likely offers RVs for sale, which could include new or pre-owned models, providing options for those looking to purchase a recreational vehicle.
- RV Services: The "Services" part of the name suggests that maintenance and repair services for RVs might be available on-site or through affiliated workshops. This is a significant convenience for RV owners.
- On-Site Management: Presence of office staff to manage the community, address resident inquiries, handle applications, and ensure adherence to park policies. This typically includes assistance with lease agreements and payments.
- Community Amenities: As publicly stated, amenities include a community playground. Other common RV park amenities may include restrooms and laundry facilities, though the functionality and accessibility of these should be verified directly with the park.
- Utility Provision: While residents typically set up their individual accounts for utilities like electricity, the park provides the necessary infrastructure and connections.
Given the nature of the business, which includes sales and services, prospective residents or customers are strongly encouraged to contact Devencrest directly for the most accurate and current information regarding lot availability, rental terms (including any acceptance of rental vouchers like Section 8 housing, as indicated in reviews), and the full scope of services available for both the RV park and manufactured home community. This direct communication is crucial for clarifying specifics and ensuring the offerings meet individual needs.
Devencrest RV Sales & Services offers several features and highlights that define the experience for its residents and customers. Based on available public information, including reviews, here are some key aspects:
- Dual Functionality (RV Park & Mobile Home Community): A unique aspect of Devencrest is its combination of an RV park for transient or extended RV stays and a mobile home community for permanent manufactured homes. This dual offering caters to a wider range of housing and travel needs within the Albany area.
- Inclusion of Sales & Services: The "Sales & Services" in its name indicates that the location may offer RV sales and maintenance/repair services, which is a significant convenience for RV owners residing there or passing through. This provides a one-stop-shop appeal for many.
- Community Playground: A confirmed amenity is the presence of a community playground. This is a valuable feature for families with children, providing a dedicated space for recreation and fostering a family-friendly environment within the community.
- Acceptance of Rental Vouchers (e.g., Section 8): Public information suggests that the park accepts rental vouchers, which falls under Section 8 housing. This makes Devencrest accessible to individuals and families seeking affordable housing solutions through government assistance programs, significantly broadening its suitability for various demographics in the Albany region. This feature addresses a critical need for low-income housing options.
- Potential for Long-Term Stays: Given its nature as both an RV park and a mobile home community, Devencrest is well-suited for long-term residents. This offers stability for those working in the area or needing a more permanent base for their RV or manufactured home.
- On-Site Management: The presence of on-site management is a key feature for addressing tenant needs, enforcing policies, and maintaining the community, as indicated by interactions mentioned in public reviews.
While some reviews highlight areas for improvement concerning internal management practices, maintenance of some facilities (like septic cleanouts), and communication regarding policies, the existence of sales and services, acceptance of rental vouchers, and a community playground are definitive features of Devencrest RV Sales & Services.

Devencrest RV Sales & Services Reviews
First off I have been a tenant for the past year and still can't find the security gates, servalance or the good lighting they claim to have and advertise and the multi site community manager Nekesha Davis is racist in my eyes cars parked on the grass all over the community but I'm the only one that was warned about parking on grass, and now there accepting rental vouchers which falls under section 8 housing and this is the way she treats tenants with disabilities and only a few tenants manly the white race and Latino race , she don't say or do anything to the black race here and this is the latest thing which I say is harassmentAs I consulted with my attorney as to what I should do and contacted s.s.i about this matter and a couple more government entities and all said the same thing if you have til the 5th of the month before considered late by the lease agreement signed quote (LATE CHARGES. Tenant agrees to pay a late charge of $50.00 for Rent not received by or delivered to Landlord atthe above address on or before the fifth day of the month. Any charges listed here will be deemed to be Rentand will be collectable as Rent. If Tenant is late for three months, Landlord may charge a late fee of $100.00 thefourth time Rent is not received by the fifth day of the month).the pictures of the money orders dated the 4th day of April and then where I was putting the money orders in a envelope into the Dropbox at office on the 5th day of April technically is not considered late until the end of day on the 6th of April because your office is not open on Saturday and Sunday but strange how you was there on Saturday and posted the rent by 5:40 pm on Saturday and in the year that I have been here never have you or any other office help posted rent on a Saturday regardless if was the 5th of the month and I have my copy of my payment history and shows on more than one occasion that was received on the 6th of the month and no late fee or sent back as partial payment but without informing the tenants the month of April you decide to do that and now fall under the guidelines of low income housing seeing you are now taking rental vouchers which is section 8 housing and you have it advertised on your website.and then give a 3 days to pay or vacate the property by hand and asked you what it was but sent rent back certified mail and then don't give complete tracking number knowing on a fixed income and that's my rent , but as I stated it's all documented with proper government entitys and attorney, and regional managers boss from either north or south Carolina during our recorded conversation with her she stated that they contacted there attorney to draw up paperwork to take possession of the property back in 30 days from receiving the paperwork from mail.without filing for eviction in the courts.so as I was informed by all parties I contacted about this matter and seeing I'm disabled is harassment.so if have to pursue further action against Nekesha Davis and the managers over her need to think about it and straighten it out before the government entitys take it and file actions accordingly.and also will be notifying you building inspector about raw septic waste and septic pipe with clean out and no cover buried with power lines .Thanks23 Mark dr.albany ga 31705.

Apr 15, 2025 · Angelina GriesMy daughter and her husband live here. The place is nice enough, but the mgt is severely lacking. My kid was told they could not park on the grass and would have to park in the street (mind you, these are not county roads but 1 lane pavement strips). Anyway, they dropped their notice the morning of my departure. As I was leaving, I drove around the park and photographed 27 similar violations. I have to say, none of the neighbors on her street had received violation notices because we asked them. Here’s the kicker: they are the only white family within a couple of blocks. Is this prejudice or not? Makes me wonder.
Feb 13, 2024 · Tenia “Tia” Bullock SmithWas visiting a friend who is staying monthly at the park. It's very quiet. Clean. They do have facilities such as showers. I've not used them but walked through just to take a peak. They would have satisfied My needs had I needed to use them . My friend has been happy with her stay here and when I've visited I'd say I would stay there as well if I needed a place to park a camper. I personally have not dealt with staff but my friend has had positive experiences with her dealings.
Aug 03, 2022 · Jami LaurenMe and my husband used to live here back in 2018. We were there for about a year. Paid like we were supposed to and everything was fine til we were moving. The manager there is awful and she should not work anywhere. She has no people skills and doesn’t know how to talk to people. She is very rude too. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Campground or mobile home part. Plus there are tons of people out there doing drugs and they don’t want to do anything about it. The cops are always out there too everytime you turn around about either someone stealing or someone getting in a fight. Not a place for family at all.
