Deerfield Estates/AJR Home Sales Reviews
Seems like a really nice park, was hoping to get in here but they only allow 1 pet per lease. We have a shih tzu and a cat so we didn't qualify despite making well over the income requirements.
Apr 09, 2025 · Marlene McNeilUpdate: The park has fixed in front of my shed as I was asking. Once the grass grows, then it's good. Overall, we're happy, just needed a yard to enjoy. It looks rough now, but, it'll get there.I thought we were safe moving here because the reviews were good, but wait! There's more! A couple things I noticed was 1. If you buy your home outright, any repairs are on you. When you call maintenance the first question is do you rent or own. My suggestion is don't buy without checking EVERYTHING first. If you rent, make sure that things are on point because getting them to do anything is like pulling teeth. As a renter, they do inspections every other month on their time. It's a requirement, yet everytime they came in, they took note of the cracks down the walls from settling and other things but, never bother fixing it. I don't have an issue being inspected as I keep my home military clean but, what's the point if it's not going to get fixed. 2. The other irritation is I've asked for my yard to be fixed since I moved 16 months ago. The yard had holes, swamp areas to the point the geese were swimming behind my house. They tried to fix it last year, add dirt shut them up. Well, we've had to wear winter rubber boots to get stuff from the shed. My biggest issue is during quarantine, couldn't go outside and enjoy the yard. Stuck! We we're told they couldn't do anything, even though the greenhouse down the toad was open and delivering yards of dirt. I'll admit they worked on the yard and are trying to fix the main yard. Guess what? Still have to wear boots to get into the shed. I really would like to wear summer shoes without them getting covered in mud/muck. I should have had the yard done myself but, I'm not buying this mobile home. No way. We live in a mote, when it rains, our mobile home is literally surrounded by water. The gnats and mosquitos are horrible. So, waiting to finish the last part of my education and it's time to go. The part of the park we're in is quiet and fabulous. We have great neighbors and for the most part, it's a nice park as long as you start out with a yard and don't need maintenance.
Jun 08, 2020 · Theresa SSold my mom a home that needed a roof and new carpet & padding put in, waited a few years then told her it needs done. (I found out it was needed from a neighbor) She didn't know what she was getting into. Swamp land with trailers thrown on it. The park was mowing the lawn, hit all her skirting them they want her to replace the damage they did. She did adopt the lot next door for extra parking but now they threw a trailer in it, so now my car has 2 big ass dents in it from trying to fit our cars in the driveway that does not really accommodate 3 vehicles due to handicapped ramp. 1 car is parked 2 blocks away which is the closet visitor parking, yeah ya gotta walk that far to get to your car, really sucks in winter months!! And they don't salt the roads so cars slide and hit other cars while trying to leave in the winter. Very upset she chose to move here
Jun 04, 2025 · Katrina BiseReally big mobile home park. I hope you have a map when you go thru here. It's big! Be careful it's easy to get all turned around.
Mar 07, 2025 · Jenni SPicked up a friend that lives there. Don't know much about the place. She seems to like it except her one neighbor that doesn't take care of his yard. The trash gets dumped over and he just leaves it there until she goes to pick it up.
