Went to view a trailer trying to set my life up for new chapters headed my way, and Montana was on top of it answering any and all questions. She even allowed me to be the first to view another property that had not yet been listed and I fell in love. Looking forward to seeing if I will get to move forward in the process and be part of this great community.

Will update again to keep up with the most current changes......First post.. I have lived here since 1998 when I moved my then new house in when it was owned by a local family but now it is owned by a company in califorina and they are saying they need to be competive with other mobile home parks so lot rent as of July 1st 2023 is $310 per month ($50 jump in rent with no upgrades to the park) along with not having a manager on site. You are a home owner but have no place to move your house to in or near Atchison kansas so the city is allowing this monolopy to happen or force you to move to Missouri (kansas city) to keep your house yours or they want you to sell it to Decade Acres where they sell i again but then expect you to keep up the yard but not tell you what your property lines are and if you do not they will mow it then charge you $50 per week. No other parking and if you get caught parking in the grass at the end of your house that is $50 to $120 each time. So with the house payment of $470 plus lot rent $310 that is $780 which is a $150000 house payment for a stick built house. Do Not buy here as they are telling you you own but in reality you are a long term renter knowing you have limited options but to sell to them or pay to move it to another city. Again do not buy from here nor put your house here you are stuck and both the city and decade acres know it. It is not a 55 and older place either.
Aug 27, 2023 · LauraI lived in this neighborhood for 11 years and it used to be a great one to live in. However, with the new owners it is just terrible. The streets are poorly patched with potholes galore on some streets. Numerous for sale signs are posted around the neighborhood. Why? Maybe because the "park manager" constantly harasses the residents, some of the more elderly residents might I add. You can't have someone parked at your lot or enter your home without being scrutinized by the park's staff. I hope to see some change around this once peaceful, beautiful neighborhood.
