Daisy Hill Mobile Home Park provides a comprehensive suite of services and amenities that significantly enhance the quality of life for its 55+ residents, going beyond typical mobile home park offerings.
Resident Ownership Model: A defining service is the "share owner" model. When you buy into Daisy Hill, you buy a share of the corporation, meaning there is "NO space rent." This unique ownership structure stabilizes monthly housing expenses over the long term, provides financial security, and gives residents a direct say in park management and improvements through an elected Board of Directors.
Well-Maintained Grounds: Residents consistently highlight that "The grounds are well maintained," indicating a dedicated effort by the community to ensure cleanliness and aesthetic appeal throughout the park. This includes landscaping and upkeep of common areas.
Private Dog Park: For pet owners, the inclusion of a "private dog park" is a highly valued service. This dedicated space allows residents' furry companions to exercise and socialize safely within the community.
Swim Spa: The park features a "swim spa," offering residents an excellent option for low-impact exercise, relaxation, and therapeutic benefits. This is a unique amenity that promotes health and wellness.
Library: A community "library" provides a quiet space for reading, learning, and accessing resources, fostering intellectual engagement and a sense of shared knowledge among residents.
Community Garden: The presence of a "community garden" allows residents with a passion for gardening to cultivate plants, grow produce, and share their bounty, promoting outdoor activity and social interaction.
Clubhouse with Full Kitchen: The "large clubhouse with full kitchen, fireplace and room for lg gatherings" is a central hub for social activities. This facility enables the community to host potlucks, parties, meetings, and various events, strengthening community bonds.
Gym/Exercise Room: An "Exercise Rm" (or "Gym") is available, supporting residents' fitness goals and active lifestyles without needing to leave the park. It is noted to be "well equiped."
Billiards Rec Room: A "Multipurpose rm with billiards and ping pong" provides opportunities for indoor recreation and friendly competition, enhancing social engagement.
Laundry Facilities: On-site "Laundry Facilities" offer convenience for residents to handle their personal laundry needs within the park.
Community Projects and Social Events: The park actively encourages involvement through "Community projects, potlucks, and spa parties," fostering a vibrant social calendar for those who choose to participate.

These services collectively create a supportive, active, and well-managed environment tailored for senior living.
Daisy Hill Mobile Home Park distinguishes itself with several unique features and highlights that make it a truly exceptional place for seniors in California to call home.
Resident-Owned Community ("Share Owner" Model): This is arguably the most significant highlight. Unlike traditional mobile home parks where residents pay space rent to a landlord, Daisy Hill operates as a "share owner" community. This means that when you purchase a home here, you also buy a share of the park's corporation, eliminating "space rent" and leading to significantly lower and more stable monthly "occupancy fees" (around $200-$210.55/mo). This model provides residents with control over their living environment, protects their investment, and fosters long-term affordability and security, a major draw for discerning buyers.
Strong Sense of Community & Support: Residents consistently praise the tight-knit and supportive atmosphere. The sentiment of "We all have each other’s back when needed, but plenty of privacy if you prefer that as well" perfectly encapsulates the balance of community and individual space. Organized activities like "Community projects, potlucks, and spa parties," "Wii bowling," "bingo, games," and an "art club" actively promote social interaction and friendship, enriching residents' lives.
Abundant and Diverse Amenities: Daisy Hill offers an impressive array of amenities that cater to various interests and promote an active senior lifestyle. These include a private dog park, a swim spa (for exercise and relaxation), a well-stocked library, a community garden (for green-thumbed residents), a well-equipped gym/exercise room, a billiards rec room, and a large clubhouse with a full kitchen for gatherings. This comprehensive offering distinguishes it from many other communities.
Well-Maintained Grounds and Homes: The park's grounds are consistently described as "well maintained," and individual homes often feature "low maintenance landscaping" and thoughtful renovations. This attention to detail ensures a beautiful and inviting environment that residents can take pride in.
Proximity to Nature Trails: The park offers "Access to nature walking trails at the back of the park" and some homes have "your own gate to the Los Osos Oaks State Reserve." This direct access to serene natural landscapes is a significant highlight for those who enjoy hiking, biking, and connecting with nature.
Spacious Home Lots: The community was built with "Very Large Lot Size, Single Story Homes Of Approximately 1300sq Ft, Can Have Personal Yards, Patio, And Car Ports On All 4 Sides Of Home!" This provides residents with more personal space, privacy, and outdoor living areas than often found in similar communities.
Professional and Caring Management: The positive feedback about the manager, Ashley Brown, being "responsive & caring" is a testament to the high quality of on-site management. Professional and empathetic management is crucial for the smooth operation and positive atmosphere of any community.

Daisy Hill Mobile Home Park Reviews
What a spectacular community to live in! It’s a 55 & up Mobile/Modular community where you’re a “share owner” vs space rent. We all have each other’s back when needed, but plenty of privacy if you prefer that as well. Community projects, potlucks, and spa parties can keep you busy, if you choose to get involved.
May 29, 2025 · Carolyn Elliott CPCPI live at Daisy Hill and I can say that it is a wonderful place to live. We are shareholders in our park which is of great value. The grounds are well maintained & we have amenities such as a private dog park, swim spa, library & community garden. As in every place where people gather there will be those with issues but my experience here is very positive. I have met wonderful people who have enriched my life. My withholding of one star has more to do with situations than actual life at Daisy Hill. I find Ashley Brown to be responsive & caring. If you are fortunate enough to find yourself a home at Daisy Hill I think you would agree.

Apr 28, 2022 · Ashley BrownI called to inquire about Daisy Hill and spoke with the manager Ashley Brown. She told me about all of the amenities and how great of a place it is to live. I'm so appreciative of the knowledge that she had and she seems like she is a great manager and asset .
Apr 28, 2022 · Roshelle FarmerIt is not a grassy park. It is a senior mobile home park. So don't go there to enjoy nature. Go there to live in a mobile home, if you're old enough.
