The park features a selection of RV sites designed to accommodate various sizes of rigs, with a focus on providing essential hookups for a comfortable stay. While some reviews suggest a history of being a "very nice park," current observations indicate it is "adequate" in its facilities.
The park aims to offer a reasonable value for money, making it attractive to budget-conscious travelers. Customer service, as reported by some, is a strong point, with staff going the extra mile to ensure guests are settled. However, other recent reviews raise serious concerns about management's demeanor and consistency, which presents a challenging contrast. This overview highlights that Cypress Creek RV Park is a functional option for many, but potential long-term residents or those with specific expectations should proceed with thorough consideration.

It is located directly off US-62, and close to both I-55 (Exit 67) and I-57 (Exit 4), making it an ideal stop for those traversing Missouri.
Sikeston is a significant hub in Southeast Missouri, offering various amenities. The park's proximity to town means easy access to gas stations, restaurants, and grocery stores. However, a notable aspect of its location is its position "across the street from a steel plant." This proximity results in "plenty of noise" from the plant during the day, although this reportedly "quits around 3" PM, leaving only general street traffic noise afterward. For local Missourians who understand regional industries, this detail provides important context for the park's immediate environment.
Cypress Creek RV Park provides a range of essential services for RVers, focusing on the basics needed for a comfortable stay:
- Full Hookups: The park offers full hookup sites, including 30-amp and 50-amp electric service, water, and sewer connections, catering to a wide variety of RVs. Many sites are pull-through, accommodating larger rigs and those towing vehicles.
- Shower House and Restrooms: A shower house with restrooms is available. Reviews indicate these facilities are "adequately clean" and provide "plenty of pressure and hot water" in the showers, which is a key amenity for campers.
- Laundry Room: A laundry facility is available on-site for guest convenience.
- Wi-Fi: The park advertises Wi-Fi connectivity. However, customer reviews offer mixed experiences regarding its reliability, with some stating "don't expect Wi-Fi for all your devices" or finding it to be "fair."

Cypress Creek RV Park presents a distinct set of features and highlights, as observed by its visitors:
- Convenient Location for Travelers: Its easy access from I-55 and I-57 makes it a "convenient, adequate stop" for those on longer journeys across Missouri. Sites are generally level and long enough for big rigs with tows.
- Good Customer Service (Variable): Positive reviews praise staff members, like "Bob," for being "very nice and accommodating," ensuring smooth site navigation for large RVs, and assisting with discounts. This personal touch is a significant highlight for many guests.
- Adequate Facilities for the Price: While not described as luxurious, the park's facilities, including the shower house, are deemed "adequately clean" and functional, representing "good value for our money."
- Proximity to Steel Plant: A notable environmental feature is the nearby steel plant, which generates significant noise during the day. While this "quits around 3" PM, it is a consistent daytime presence.
- Management Consistency Concerns: Conversely, a major "highlight" from negative reviews is the severe criticism of park management. Allegations include:
- Inconsistent rules and communication, with managers blaming owners for policy changes.
- Threats of towing vehicles for parking as instructed.
- Aggressive behavior regarding minor activities like grilling outside.
- Fabricated complaints against residents.
- Claims of noise from vehicles disrupting TV service for others.
- Demands to replace "weeds" with sod if parking on grass, despite apparent lack of lawn care.
- Allegations of threats to call other parks to prevent evicted residents from finding new places to stay.
- Eviction shortly after leaving a negative online review.
- "Nursing Home" Atmosphere Claim: One review sarcastically describes the park as being "ran like a nursing home," suggesting overly restrictive rules on outdoor activities and social interaction.

Cypress Creek RV Park Reviews
I'll start with service. Bob made sure we could maneuver into our assigned site, he drove me to it in his truck to verify it was OK and we could get in and out without problems. We have a 40ft class A diesel pusher and we were towing a jeep so we needed a pull through site. He made sure we got the discounts we were eligible for and we feel it was a good value for our money. The sites and the whole park are "adequate". One can tell at some point in the past this was a very nice park. We used the shower house. It was adequately clean and the shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. It's across the street from a steel plant so during the day there's plenty of noise from that but it quits around 3 and just street traffic noise after that. We'll keep coming back as it's a convenient, adequate stop at a reasonable price with good customer service.
Apr 04, 2024 · Steven RiesI have never had this many issues at an RV park. The park manager tells you one thing then comes back and says you can’t do that and blames the owners. Threatens to tow your vehicles when you park exactly how he tells you to. Speeds through the park when you light your small personal grill(allowed in rules). Claims you have 4-5 complaints on you over night but yet I talk to all my neighbors and no one has had an issue. Claims loud vehicles mess up everyone’s tv in the park. Also I have heard if you park in the grass(weeds) they will make you replace with sod. The only thing here is weeds due to lack of lawn care. Also don’t expect Wi-Fi for all your devices. If you want to stay in a park that is ran like a nursing home then you should definitely come here.If you are human and like to be outside and cook or have a drink with friends or family then you will be threatened to be kicked out. And at the same time be told that they will call the other parks in the area that they own so that you can’t move. I’m not sure if they own anymore but if they do I hope they aren’t run like this one.20hrs after leaving a review I get evicted lol.
Apr 12, 2024 · Alvin HowardThis is not a destination park. But it is sufficient for a short stay. The manager is a nice helpful guy, and accommodating. This RV Park is clean, and well manicured. Gravel roadways and pads, grassy areas in between. Dogs have their own area. This is right across from a Steel plant and can be noisy during the week day, but quiet at night.
Apr 16, 2023 · Joy SeekerThis is a great place to stay, close to Sikeston/Miner. Not far from Lambert's. Reasonable rates. Lots of shade trees makes it alot cooler, unlike another park closer to Interstate 55 which has no trees! Fairly quiet, except for noise from the steel plant across the road. Great for overnights or long term!!! The Manager Bob is very nice!
May 17, 2023 · Levi SehieThis little park is fine for a one night stop, where you just need a level gravel parking spot with a hookup. But don’t expect more than that. No picnic tables, fire rings, playground or ambiance. Rather neglected, worn out signs, worn out fence, upside down 55 gallon drums used to weatherproof the electric hookups. Many worn out RVs but spaces were fairly tidy. Friendly man at the office, doubt he is the owner. 95% occupied by long term stays. Noisy steel plant across the road. Thank goodness, no night shift so it was quiet at 6pm. I peeked at the laundry but didn’t use. Two washers, two dryers with a folding table. My impression was that it was kept tidy. We paid $35 for one night.
