Crossroads RV Park in Iola, Texas, presents itself as a budget-friendly option, offering essential amenities in a relatively quiet, rural setting. This park caters to a specific kind of RVer – one who prioritizes practicality and reasonable pricing, and appreciates a laid-back atmosphere.
Crossroads RV Park has garnered a range of opinions from its past residents, offering a transparent look into what new visitors can expect. One long-term resident noted, "My family and I stayed here for about six months. We had a great time as far as RV parks go. It was a very laid back atmosphere. Everyone keeps to themselves for the most part." This highlights a key aspect of the park's appeal: a low-key environment where residents can enjoy their privacy and a less structured community feel. For many, this quiet independence is a significant draw, offering a stark contrast to more bustling, amenity-heavy resorts.
It's important to approach Crossroads RV Park with realistic expectations, as some reviews point to areas where the park may not meet everyone's standards for luxury or constant on-site management. However, the consistent praise for its affordability remains a strong point. "Everything is very reasonably priced," according to a long-term guest, indicating that for those managing their budget carefully, Crossroads RV Park offers significant value. Understanding these various perspectives helps future guests decide if this practical approach to RV living aligns with their preferences.
Crossroads RV Park is strategically located at 20030 FM 39, Iola, TX 77861, USA. Iola itself is a small, unincorporated community in Grimes County, offering a genuine taste of rural Texas life. The park's position on FM 39 provides a degree of seclusion and peace, setting it apart from more urbanized RV parks and contributing to its "laid back atmosphere."
While Iola offers a quiet retreat, the park's location also provides reasonable accessibility to larger towns and cities in the region. For example, popular attractions like the Aggieland Wild Animal Safari or events at Kyle Field are accessible for a day trip.
The rural setting means less traffic and noise, which can be a major benefit for those seeking a peaceful escape from the daily grind. While local services in Iola may be limited, essential supplies and more extensive retail and dining options are available in nearby towns, requiring a short drive. The location strikes a balance for those who appreciate country living but still need to be within reach of larger community resources.

Crossroads RV Park Reviews
If I could give it a zero I would But the only thing good about it is the price. I believe these other reviews are fake. Except for the one about the ants and the owner never responds That was a true review. The facilities are horrible, old, unfinished and dirty. Please don't use the washers or dryers. They are older than me, that's pretty old. Laundry room is Always dirty. don't expect any customer service what so ever. There is no one to reach for issues as owner or management is never around also some really trashy cluttered sites that they don't make people keep there areas like they should. At least they finally filled those ditches after after monthsPicture's will follow in another reviewFilthy unfinished and mold on shower curtains and washers falling apart
Oct 17, 2023 · Kali JoyMy family and I stayed here for about six months. We had a great time as far as rv parks go. It was a very laid back atmosphere. Everyone keeps to themselves for the most part, they have washers, dryers, and bathrooms on site. They also have storage buildings on site as well. Everything is very reasonably priced. We were able to fit our 42ft fifth wheel along with 2 trucks on our our concrete pad. The only drawback were the sugar ants. We put down ant poision around our spot and that helped a lot. I would reccomend staying here.
Jan 22, 2025 · Gabriel TemplesWe stayed here several months for work and would absolutely stay again. They have a laundromat and on-site bathrooms which were always kept up and in good working order.Management was not on site but always friendly and prompt when we needed anything. Great people, great atmosphere, and overall a clean, family friendly park. 5/5 stars.
Oct 14, 2023 · Jarrett SmithAnts everywhere , owner rarely answers the phone and never keeps track on when you pay. Would not recommend, our coworkers left after 4 days of being there because there was ants and owner told them and also us that no one ever complained. Also barely have service out there and no wifi and someone cut our extension cord and i told the owner and they never got back with me about it.
