Crescent Lake Waterfront Community Introduce
Hello, Florida residents! Are you dreaming of a tranquil waterfront lifestyle, surrounded by the natural beauty of "Old Florida," without sacrificing convenience and community? Then allow us to introduce you to the Crescent Lake Waterfront Community in Crescent City. This isn't just a mobile home park; it's a vibrant, age-restricted (55+) manufactured home community that offers a unique opportunity to live out your golden years in a serene, picturesque setting. Nestled directly on the shores of the beautiful Crescent Lake, this community provides a peaceful retreat while keeping you connected to local amenities and the expansive Florida waterways. Our goal in this article is to give you a clear, engaging, and factual overview of what makes this local gem a standout choice for those seeking a relaxed, active, and affordable waterfront lifestyle in Florida.
Crescent Lake Waterfront Community is truly a place where "serenity meets convenience." It's designed for those who appreciate the quiet charm of a lakeside setting but still desire easy access to necessities and recreational opportunities. The community boasts over 450 feet of pristine waterfront, offering residents direct access to Crescent Lake, a significant body of water known for its clear waters and abundant wildlife. Imagine waking up to the gentle sounds of the lake, with opportunities to witness diverse wildlife such as river otters, blue herons, white egrets, osprey, owls, and even bald eagles and manatees. This close connection to nature is a consistent highlight for those who experience the community.
One of the most appealing aspects of Crescent Lake Waterfront Community is its strong sense of camaraderie and respect among residents. Despite a review mentioning a "loud Harley," the visitor noted, "Not once have I been treated rudely... I do throttle back and drift as much as possible trying to be respectful of others." This speaks volumes about the community's respectful and friendly atmosphere, where neighbors value peace and courtesy. The community is described as "well-groomed and affordable," indicating a commitment to maintaining a high-quality living environment at a reasonable cost. Each resident owns their own home, with the home sites leased on an annual agreement, managed by private, on-site property owners, which often contributes to a more personal and attentive management style. The "quaint air bnb" experience mentioned in a review further underscores the peaceful and beautiful nature of the area for visitors.
Crescent Lake Waterfront Community is ideally situated at 1110 Summit St, Crescent City, FL 32112, USA. This location places it directly on the western bank of Crescent Lake, a large freshwater lake spanning Putnam and Flagler Counties. For Florida residents, particularly those in Central and North Florida, Crescent City is a charming and accessible destination. It's often described by locals as "off the beaten path but 'close to everything'," highlighting its perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and convenient access to larger cities and attractions. St. Augustine is approximately 45 minutes away, and Ormond and Daytona Beach are about 60 minutes, making day trips to coastal attractions feasible.
The accessibility of the community extends beyond its regional placement. Within walking distance of the community, residents will find a Winn Dixie grocery store, ensuring that daily necessities are just a short stroll away. To the north, there's a city-owned dog park, providing a convenient and close-by space for "fur babies," as the community is pet-friendly. A significant highlight of its accessibility is the provision of private boat slips right outside residents' doorsteps. This unparalleled direct lake access opens up a world of fishing and boating opportunities. Crescent Lake itself is an "all sports lake," suitable for boats of most any size, and offers connectivity to the adventurous St. Johns River, allowing travel by boat to numerous bars and restaurants in neighboring cities. This seamless blend of on-site convenience and broader regional access makes Crescent Lake Waterfront Community an exceptionally appealing choice for active Florida residents.

May 18 · Amy HatcherI love stopping in to visit old friends... Not once have I been treated rudely even with tattoos in the wind on my extremely loud Harley... I do throttle back and drift as much as possible trying to be respectful of others...
April 17 · Banshee LaDucatiI spent my childhood at this park. My grandparents trailer was right off the main pier. My grandpa had an orange tree.I can remember a turkey dinner was always followed up the next day with blue crab. Grandma would give me the turkey neck and I'd catch a five gallon bucket full. So many memories.I wish Google would streetview the circle. If anyone there has a 3D or VR camera, it'd be nice to see the place as it stands today.
December 26 · Craig ManskeNew owners are trying to make residents pay for things the owners are responsible for and they are squeezing in trailers one on top of another. I am adding to my post as I have become aware of a trailer on the water front that has been in occupied for several years except for the huge rat population that had taken it over. And since the cleaning of land for more units the rats are finding there way into occupied trailers looking for food. You would think management would have exterminators on a maintenance plan to keep all nuisance creachers under control.
June 06 · Anthony RaponeAwesome park! It's right on Lake Crescent and has some of the best fishing around. The owners are so nice and the management is so helpful and friendly.
