Our goal is to empower you with the necessary information to help you determine if this community aligns with your housing aspirations in Southwest Michigan.
Country Holiday Estates is strategically located at 43124 M-43, Paw Paw, MI 49079, USA. This address places the community directly on M-43, a key state highway, ensuring convenient access for residents. Paw Paw itself is a delightful village in Van Buren County, offering a tranquil environment with an array of local amenities. For Michigan residents, this location provides a desirable combination of rural serenity and practical accessibility to necessities and attractions.
Being on M-43 means that commuting to nearby towns or accessing major roadways is straightforward. Within Paw Paw, residents of Country Holiday Estates are close to local schools, grocery stores, unique shops, and dining establishments that contribute to the village's charm. The easy access to M-43 also facilitates travel to larger regional centers such as Kalamazoo, which is a relatively short drive away. This broader accessibility means that residents can enjoy the quietude of Paw Paw while still having convenient reach to a wider range of employment opportunities, extensive retail options, healthcare facilities, and cultural venues. This balance of local convenience and regional connectivity is often a significant factor for Michiganders seeking a mobile home community, offering the best of both worlds in their daily lives.
Mobile home parks primarily offer the rental of individual lots where residents place their manufactured homes. While a detailed official list of services for Country Holiday Estates is not broadly available, based on common industry practices and feedback from residents, the community likely provides the following core services:
- Lot Rental and Utility Infrastructure: The fundamental service is providing the space for your manufactured home. This includes ensuring access to essential utility hookups such as water, sewer, and electricity. Residents are typically responsible for their individual utility bills in addition to the lot rent. It's noted that "Water is included in the rent" for some units, which is a valuable inclusion.
- Community Maintenance: A crucial service in any manufactured home park is the upkeep of common areas and infrastructure. While one review points to concerns about road conditions ("not wanting to fix anything like the roads it's just disgusting"), another describes the place as "pretty well put together," with "roads are kept neat," and yards "kept fairly neat." This conflicting information suggests that maintenance levels might vary or that improvements could be ongoing, but the intent to maintain the property is present.
- On-Site or Responsive Management: The presence of a "park manager" (even if perceived as absent by one resident) and mention of an "owner" indicates a management structure. For many communities, this includes handling resident inquiries, lease agreements, and enforcing park rules to ensure a harmonious living environment for all.
Prospective residents should always clarify specific services covered by lot rent and inquire about the management's policies on maintenance requests and responsiveness.
Country Holiday Estates presents a mixed but informative set of features and highlights based on resident feedback:
- Generally Well-Maintained Appearance: Despite one strong negative comment, another resident describes the place as "pretty well put together," noting that "The roads are kept neat, the driveways are well organized with each resident's vehicle, even the yards are kept fairly neat, where the resident has a small child living with him or her!" This suggests that many residents take pride in their properties, contributing to an overall sense of order.
- Family-Friendly Atmosphere: The mention of residents having "a small child living with him or her" implies a community that is suitable for families, where children can live comfortably. This is often a significant factor for Michigan families seeking a suitable environment.
- Quiet Community: Although not explicitly stated as "quiet," the overall impression of a well-organized community in a small-town setting like Paw Paw often translates to a more peaceful living environment compared to urban areas.
- Dedicated Residents: The efforts by residents to keep their yards neat and driveways organized, even with children, highlights a collective pride in the community that contributes positively to the living experience.
It is important to acknowledge the contrasting review that mentions a new owner who "sucks," raises rent frequently, and doesn't fix roads, describing the park as "disgusting." This stark difference in opinion suggests that potential residents should visit the park in person to assess the current conditions of the roads and common areas, and inquire directly about management's responsiveness and rent increase policies to form their own informed opinion.
As of the available information, there are no specific promotions or special offers publicly advertised for Country Holiday Estates Mobile Home Park. While some mobile home communities may offer incentives such as reduced initial lot rent, moving allowances, or special pricing on available homes, these types of promotions can vary and are often communicated directly by the park management. One resident noted frequent rent increases, which could imply a lack of consistent promotional pricing. Potential residents are strongly encouraged to directly contact Country Holiday Estates to inquire about current rental rates, any available homes for lease or purchase, and any programs or benefits that might be offered to new residents. Direct communication with the office is the most reliable way to obtain the most up-to-date and accurate information.

Country Holiday Estates Reviews
I've lived here for many years and the new owner that bought it a couple years ago sucks we have no park manager cuz they're never here and every time you turn around he's wanting to raise the rent because he's money hungry and not wanting to fix anything like the roads it's just disgusting
May 13, 2024 · mary hammondI don't live there, but every time I visit my best girl friend who lives here with her husband and their two children, the place is pretty well put together. The roads are kept neat, the driveways are well organized with each resident's vehicle, even the yards are kept fairly neat, where the resident has a small child living with him or her!
Nov 10, 2020 · Sherena MarvinThe "managers" try to parent all the kids and when asked for help they just say there working on it. Had a water line bust in the empty trailor next door and they were informed over a dozen times and all winter and half of spring it poured water and flooded our yards and of course iced over and made it dangerous to step out into our own yard.
Feb 11, 2018 · david shemickYou can literally do NOTHING in here!
Mar 03, 2025 · Tammy MoreheadPeople don't know how to mind they're own here. They lie and make stuff up about people. The rent is cheap but the water sucks.
