Mobile home parks, like Country Aire, often provide a more accessible entry point into homeownership compared to traditional stick-built homes, making them an attractive option for many individuals and families. The community setting can foster neighborly connections, and the specific location of Country Aire offers practical advantages for daily living and access to Austin's vibrant culture and economy.
Country Aire Mobile Home Park is conveniently located at 8220 State Hwy 71, Austin, TX 78735, USA. The 78735 ZIP code is known for its blend of suburban tranquility and quick access to urban amenities. Residents can benefit from being close to major employers, shopping centers, dining establishments, and recreational facilities. The park's location on a state highway ensures easy commuting for those who work in Austin or need to travel frequently. While specific, detailed lists of services directly from Country Aire Mobile Home Park's official site are not extensively available from the provided data, mobile home parks generally offer certain common services to their residents. Based on typical offerings and general community expectations, these might include:
Lot Rentals: The primary service offered by a mobile home park is the rental of individual lots or spaces where residents can place their manufactured or mobile homes. This typically includes access to utilities like water, sewer, and electricity connections (though residents usually pay for their usage).
Community Management/Office: There is typically an on-site or readily available management team to handle resident inquiries, rent collection, enforce park rules, and address maintenance concerns related to common areas. However, some past resident feedback suggests potential challenges with office availability and responsiveness, indicating that prospective residents should inquire thoroughly about management's accessibility.
Common Area Maintenance: The park management is generally responsible for maintaining common areas, roads within the park, and shared facilities. This can include landscaping of public spaces and upkeep of amenities.
Basic Utilities Hookups: Sites are typically equipped with hookups for water, sewer, and electrical services. Some parks may also offer natural gas hookups. Residents are responsible for setting up accounts with utility providers.
Community Amenities (Potential): While not explicitly confirmed for Country Aire from the limited provided data, many mobile home parks offer amenities such as a swimming pool, laundry facilities, a clubhouse or community center, and potentially recreational areas. A review from a previous resident mentioned a clean and open pool "in the beginning" which later changed, suggesting amenities can fluctuate. It's crucial for prospective residents to verify the current status and availability of any advertised amenities.
Rules and Regulations: Mobile home parks operate under a set of rules and regulations designed to ensure a harmonious living environment for all residents. These rules can cover aspects like landscaping, noise levels, pet policies, and maintenance of homes and lots. Some past reviews indicate strict or potentially changing rules, which prospective residents should thoroughly understand.
Based on the provided information and general characteristics of mobile home parks in Texas, here are some potential features and highlights of Country Aire Mobile Home Park:
Affordable Living Option: Mobile home parks often provide a more cost-effective housing solution compared to traditional homes in the competitive Austin real estate market. This can be a significant highlight for individuals and families looking for accessible homeownership.
Community Atmosphere: Many residents choose mobile home parks for the sense of community they offer. Neighbors often interact and develop strong bonds, creating a close-knit environment. While past negative reviews mention issues, a sense of community is often a core aim.
Convenient Austin Location: Situated on State Highway 71, the park offers excellent access to Austin's amenities, employment centers, shopping, dining, and entertainment, making it practical for daily living and leisure activities.
Proximity to Dealership: The mention of a car dealership (likely associated with manufactured home sales) being on-site or closely linked suggests convenience for those looking to purchase new or used mobile homes, potentially simplifying the process of finding a residence within the park.
Potential for Amenities: While fluctuating, the past mention of a pool indicates the presence of recreational amenities that can enhance residents' quality of life. Prospective residents should confirm current amenity status directly.
Potential for Modern Homes: The park's alleged policy of "getting rid of old trailers to beautify the trailer park" suggests a focus on maintaining a visually appealing community with potentially newer or updated mobile homes. However, the enforcement of such policies, as noted in a review, can be a point of contention.

It is highly recommended that prospective residents contact the park management directly to schedule a visit, inquire about specific lot availability, current rental rates, and any associated fees. It is also advisable to ask for a copy of the park's rules and regulations, and to clarify any policies regarding home age, maintenance, or vehicle restrictions to ensure they align with your expectations and needs. Given the significant concerns raised in a detailed past review regarding management issues, security, maintenance, and eviction policies, thorough due diligence, including direct communication and potentially speaking with current residents if possible, is strongly advised before committing to a residency.
For Texans, particularly those in the Austin area, Country Aire Mobile Home Park presents an option for potentially affordable living within a convenient location. The allure of accessible homeownership in a city with a rapidly growing cost of living is significant. Its position on State Highway 71 offers residents a practical commute to Austin's various opportunities, from employment hubs to entertainment districts. For those seeking a community environment and a more budget-friendly entry into the housing market, a mobile home park can be an appealing choice.
However, it is imperative for local Texans considering Country Aire to approach with caution and conduct extensive due diligence. While the park's general offerings align with the typical mobile home park model (lot rentals, basic utilities, and potential amenities), the serious concerns highlighted in a past customer review – particularly regarding unresponsive management, alleged suspicious incidents, and stringent/changing policies on home age – are red flags that cannot be overlooked. A positive review from a car dealership spokesperson, while useful for car shopping, does not reflect on the residential experience within the park itself. Therefore, suitability for locals depends entirely on a thorough investigation by interested parties. Directly verifying current policies, speaking with park management in depth about the issues raised in reviews, and ideally, speaking with current residents on-site, would be critical steps to ensure that Country Aire Mobile Home Park truly offers the stable and desirable living environment that prospective Texans are seeking.

June 20 · rosa arroyoMy sister and I lived at Country Aire and it seems like a nice place until, the people in the office kept sending a mentally retarded man to mow your yard without your permission or even after you had already mowed it, he destroyed our potted plants and our lawn furniture while we were at work, and there was no one ever available in the office to talk to about him and we had to call the Austin / Travis county police to get him off our yard. As for crime.. when my sister bought a new electric lawn mower it was stolen right off our front porch we went in the trailer house for about 15 minutes and whomever took it cut the chain and lock we secured it with and what coincident right after (An hour later exactly) that it happened the mentally retarded man showed up to mow our yard, he said he was told to come mow our yard cause we had our mower stolen. It was all very strange. When my sister's mobile home that she bought brand new from Country Aire turned 2 yrs old they told her she had to move her trailer or purchase a newer model apparently they were "getting rid of the old trailers" to beautify the trailer park. We weren't the only ones that were sent an eviction notice because our mobile homes were "Dated or Older than 2 yrs"It was nice in the beginning the pool was clean and was open, but after while everything changed for the worst, the office personnel / owner / staff were rude and unable to any and all concerns to the point that you had to involve the Travis county inspectors/ City of Austin. My sister and I lived in Country Aire from 1995 to 1998.. and when our father passed away in November of 1997 and we had to leave to the Rio Grande Valley South Texas for our father's funeral, our 3 pet kittens (we kept them in the mobile home-they are indoor kittens) were cut up and mutilated in our trailer, our friend that was watching them in our trailer called us to let us know what happened. She said that when she got home from work the front door had been kicked open and the lock & door on had been removed. She called the police cause who ever did it also left a threatening note taped on the inside of front door that was on Country Aire personalized stationary. THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW..IT WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR US AND MY SISTER HAD HER TRAILER MOVED TO SOME LAND SHE PURCHASED AND I MOVED CLOSER TO MY JOB.
June 08 · melissa partainDefinitely looking better. What a great job the new landscaping company is doing keep up the good work PMJ.
October 29 · Patrick WalkerI'm very surprised to see these reviews. This is a nice place to live! One certain person is not a good neighbor. Lets just leave it at that. Connie is a good person. I think they should leave us here in peace!
November 11 · Ann BRaise the price of rent every month but won’t fix the streets roads pot holes everywhere and hazardous especially that one drain in middle that always sticks out terrible management
