**Cougar Campers RV Park** in Moses Lake, Washington, is an established **RV park** primarily serving guests and residents seeking a functional, longer-term camping or living arrangement in the Central Washington region. The park is distinguished by its quiet setting and proximity to natural amenities, making it a desirable location for those who appreciate a relaxed environment with opportunities for outdoor activity. While specific details on the exact hookup types (full hookups, 30/50 amp) are not publicly detailed, the community provides basic **RV camping** and is known for being managed by an owner described by some residents as **"really nice and easy to talk to."**
The atmosphere is often described as **"Lovely place, well maintained and quiet,"** with **friendly neighbors**. The appeal of Cougar Campers lies in its community feel and its easy access to the local landscape, particularly the **nearby canal** which offers extensive **trails and places to walk**. This feature is a major benefit for those with pets or who enjoy morning jogs and evening strolls. However, it is essential for prospective residents to note that, as with many RV parks, especially those with a mix of short and long-term stays, experiences can vary greatly. Some negative reviews highlight concerns about noise, rule enforcement regarding behavior, and general maintenance issues, suggesting potential inconsistencies in the environment that prospective guests should investigate directly before committing to a stay.
Cougar Campers RV Park is situated in the broader Moses Lake area of Grant County, Washington. The physical address is: **14934 Road 5th Northeast, Moses Lake, WA 98837, USA**. This location places the park outside the immediate core of Moses Lake, offering a more rural and tranquil setting compared to parks directly off the interstate.
The park is conveniently located near major agricultural lands and local water features. A key geographical feature is the park's proximity to the irrigation **canal**, which is described as **"very close by"**. These canals and associated access roads are a significant feature of Central Washington and often provide miles of flat, scenic terrain for walking, biking, and running. While the park is not directly on Moses Lake itself, its location offers different, valuable access to the regional landscape.
In terms of accessibility for vehicles, the park offers **On-site parking** for guests. Given its function as an RV park, it is designed to be accessible for various RV sizes, though guests with larger coaches should confirm maneuverability and site size when booking. The community's location allows for straightforward travel to and from the city of Moses Lake for shopping and other services.

Choosing Cougar Campers RV Park is primarily worthwhile for Washington residents and travelers who are seeking an **affordable, stable, and functionally basic RV site** for an extended stay in the Moses Lake area, especially if they value direct access to **natural walking/biking trails**. The park's key advantage lies in its quiet, off-the-beaten-path location that still allows for easy access to the recreational amenities of the Columbia Basin. The positive reports of a nice owner and friendly neighbors suggest that the park can offer a genuine sense of community for those willing to engage.
However, potential guests must conduct due diligence due to the conflicting nature of the reviews. While the positive feedback highlights a lovely, quiet, and well-maintained environment with great owner interaction, the negative reviews are severe, pointing to major issues with noise, anti-social behavior, and cleanliness. This discrepancy suggests that the park's quality may be inconsistent or that the environment has changed over time. For those prioritizing **low cost and long-term stability** and who are prepared to assess the current on-site conditions, the park's location near the canal and its inherent quiet setting (away from the highway) offer strong foundational benefits. It is highly recommended to speak directly with the management and potentially visit the park before making a long-term commitment to ensure the current environment meets your expectations for a peaceful Central Washington RV experience.

- Honestly one of the worst r.v parks in Washington, there are a bunch of methods heads walking around "smoking there pipe in plain sight" drunks that scream all day and night. There is one gentleman out there that I witness hit his dog with his vehicle and then scream at the dog like it was the dogs fault. Same guy revs his engine all night until 4 a.m. the owner her self will do nothing g about it when she is notified your at fault and blamed. It smells so bad and is so dry that the smell just gets worse. And the price she charges for such a dump is just ridiculous. If your thing about going here I would advise against it especially if you have children definitely a horrible park in every manner. July 13 · Pat Cox
