Cottonwood RV Park Reviews
This is a small crowded RV park and most RVs seem to br three for long term. It is walkable to the Rio Grande
Feb 23, 2025 · Elizabeth NThis place is a mess, my husband stayed long term here, the guy who runs it was always at our camper asking for rent even though it wasn't due yet, so we were always having to call owner to straighting it out. Then after 3 months there we tried getting our deposit back .. guy running it says I don't mess with the money call own.. called own he says I'll mail it.. 2 month later no mail and still having to email owner for our deposit, it's a mess...
Jan 22, 2018 · Suzette BatesComplete rip off! Called ahead was told $100 would reserve a space and rent would be prorated from day of arrival. Got there on 11/7/2017 and then told no we don't prorate. We paid full month rent for December in advance. At 9:05 pm on 12/9/2017 there was a Tweaker knocking on the RV door. We had to threaten use of our gun before 3 of them left. We packed up and left the next day. NO refund has ever been returned.Worst RV Park experience we have ever had.Traffic noise is 24/7, police sirens go by hourly. City Park next door is over run by drug dealers and prostitutes. Never Again!!!
Jan 30, 2018 · Bruce ASHLINDThe manger Roger was super kind and went out of his way to make sure we were happy there. The owner of the park is also very kind and always doing something to keeo the park up. The ditch bank along side the park is stocked with fish and everyday their were people fishing. The wi-fi is very good and strong signal. The park itslef is very quiet and everyone we came in contact with were very friendly. Stayed for a month and on our way back through we hope there will be a spot open for another few days.
Feb 19, 2017 · Greg & Lorrie CartaI do not recommend this rv site I had planned a three week stay . Paying week to week 163.00 on the third week the manager came to my space and I was about to pay him for the third week and he stated that I was not able to continue my stay as Maria had made a reservation for my space. I am a veteran. An African American who lives in a Home not far from the cottonwood rv park. I keep to myself. And feel that this was without a doubt racially motivated. And done without cause, I do know the manager drinks I would assume he always smells of mouthwash, and seemed to have a dislike for me immediatly. But to book a spot when you had no vacancy is not good business practice if he had a problem he should have stated that from the beginning. So if your a minority anything other than Caucasian I would drive on by and look for something where the only color that matters is green.I returned to the park later that evening to find the space empty. Which only confirmed my suspicions that this act was indeed a blatant act of RACISM. All of the other reviews are by people who fit the category.
