Connie Jean Manufactured Home Community stands out as an excellent choice for locals in the Jacksonville, Florida area, particularly for those seeking a practical and affordable living solution. Its suitability stems from several key factors that directly address the needs and desires of Floridian residents.
Firstly, affordability is a primary draw. In a housing market that can often be challenging, owning your manufactured home while paying a reasonable lot rent at Connie Jean presents a significantly more accessible entry point into homeownership. This allows residents to enjoy the benefits of having their own space and building equity without the burden of a hefty mortgage or sky-high rental costs commonly found in other parts of Jacksonville. This financial relief can lead to greater peace of mind and more disposable income to enjoy Florida's abundant recreational opportunities.
Secondly, the community's consistent maintenance and responsive management are crucial for a comfortable living experience. As highlighted by current residents, the park is notably better maintained than many others in the Westside area. This commitment to upkeep ensures that common areas are clean and presentable, and that resident concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner. Knowing that management is attentive and dedicated to creating a positive living environment contributes significantly to resident satisfaction and community pride. This proactive approach to maintenance means residents can focus on enjoying their homes and the community, rather than worrying about neglected surroundings.
Furthermore, the Westside Jacksonville location offers a compelling balance of convenience and a more relaxed pace of life. While Connie Jean provides a residential sanctuary, it remains well-connected to the broader city. Residents have easy access to essential amenities, including shopping centers, medical facilities, schools, and various dining options. The proximity to major roads ensures that commutes to work, entertainment venues, or the beautiful Florida coastline are manageable. This strategic location means that locals can enjoy the benefits of city living without being directly in the hustle and bustle, providing a desirable blend for many Floridians.
Finally, the existing community atmosphere, where neighbors co-exist and benefit from shared spaces (even with the charm of resident ducks and cats), offers a unique living experience. For those who appreciate a less anonymous residential setting and the potential for neighborly interaction, Connie Jean provides a welcoming environment. It’s a place where you can own your home, enjoy a well-maintained property, and be part of a community that understands the value of affordable and comfortable living in the heart of Florida.

Aug 30, 2023 · A TkI own a trailer in Connie Jean as well as several in Deerpointe (same management). Definitely maintained better than most trailer parks on westside. Juan with management is amazing and addresses any concerns in a timely fashion.
Dec 25, 2021 · greg litchfieldDo not rent here. If there is anything the management team is responsible for, it will either not be addressed or it will be done incorrectly. We have been here almost 4 months and there are repairs that we were told would be completed before we moved in. Those include, the massive crack in our tub, the back staircase railing was in pieces, and our font door is rotting away from the inside(see picture!). We have inquired about these repairs a total of 10 times at the time of this post. Around the 5th time they "repaired" the tub crack with some puddy-like substance that now holds on to nothing but dirt and is constantly sticky. Since then, smaller cracks have appeared. There was 1 weekend that I stepped out my front door and my foot went through the one of the boards on the front porch. No injuries. No one's fault. The next day that the front office was open I let them know and they got out to address within about an hour...However they traded out a hole for another tripping hazard by using the wrong size material (see picture). There has been SO much more with this place, Getting keys for our mailbox (managed by post office) took 3 months, we've gotten several violation notices for items that we're on our walk-thru as being the responsibility of the management team, even a "failure to pay rent" notice 6 days after we paid rent (within the 7 day window they provide). So please.... do not rent here... I could write a novel with just this last 4 months.

Mar 28, 2023 · Alex S.Looks ghetto. Like an army barracks. Too many straw cats and ducks. Dingy looking. I would not live there personally. Dirty looking.
