Columbia Cove RV Park Introduce
For Washington travelers and outdoor enthusiasts exploring the majestic Columbia River corridor and the Okanogan Valley, **Columbia Cove RV Park** in Brewster, WA, presents a highly convenient and activity-rich stopover or basecamp. Operated by the City of Brewster, this **RV Park** is specifically designed to provide essential comforts and immediate access to surrounding community and natural attractions, making it an excellent choice for anglers, boaters, and families traveling with children.
The park is strategically located right near the confluence of the Okanogan and Columbia Rivers, a spot famous among Washington residents for its world-class fishing—particularly for **Walleye, Steelhead, Trout, and Bass**. Its proximity to the water, with a **boat launch only 50 yards away**, is a significant draw, often cited as a five-star feature by fishing enthusiasts. Beyond the river access, the park's immediate adjacency to the **city's public pool and a nearby soccer field** integrates campers into the community's recreational life, offering amenities usually not found within a private RV park.
While the setting is beautiful, with clear views of the surrounding landscapes, prospective visitors should be aware that, as a city-operated park integrated into a neighborhood, the environment is generally open and active. Some guest feedback mentions that the sites can be narrow, offering limited privacy, and notes the potential for local noise, such as the town's fire station siren located nearby. However, these factors are often balanced by the park's exceptional **customer service**, which is frequently praised for patience and accommodation, and the clear benefit of having a **large public pool with slides** and the **Columbia River beach** right across the street, creating a genuinely fun and friendly atmosphere, especially during the warmer months.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Ok, so the landscape is gorgeous and the customer service was awesome, so I won’t give it 1 star, but I’m not reviewing the location, I’m reviewing the RV park. I don’t know where to begin. How about the siren that went off at 1 am, that had us thoroughly convinced the city was about to be evacuated and we were expecting to go outside and see the mountain on fire. Nope, nothing to worry about. Just letting you know the fire trucks were leaving the station. For the love of God, you don’t need a WW2 air horn/bomb alert /tornado/hurricane is coming siren going off at any time, to alert us that the firehouse doors are opening. I swear the siren is in the middle of the park and our ears were ringing for hours. We learned this after a full night of not sleeping because nobody bothered telling us what was going on. Memo to Brewster - that’s not a normal way to open your firehouse doors. The spots are very narrow and you’re literally in the middle of a neighborhood, including the soccer field and city pool. However, the pool isn’t open on weekends, FYI. As I said, and to be fair - it’s gorgeous and you’re 30 minutes from Omak or Chelan, and 1 hour from Coulee City. Mix of pull through and back in sites with 0 privacy and you’ll get to know the backside of your neighbors RV septic hookup quite well, as it’s 3 feet from your lawn chair. I certainly wouldn’t want to try and back in with anything bigger than 26 feet. Slide outs won’t go out in a few of the sites due to trees close to parking pad. So just be aware. For anglers this is probably a 5 star because it’s not crowded, and the boat launch is 50 yards away from the RV. So there is that … August 21 · Traveling Sports Dude
- Nice RV park. Especially in the warmer months. Public pool a few steps away with a big slide and the beach right across the street. Customer service is great. She worked with my husbands ever changing schedule with a lot of patience. Wish it was summer because I would never want to go home. Very fun and friendly park!! April 08 · Dawn Tibbett
- hosts were very nice. we showed up with no reservation and were accommodated well. clean bathrooms and showers. nearby park and playground for kids. September 16 · Zach Hein
- This campground is a zoo with fisherman and boats. Everyone is packed in and several of the campsites are right on the road (you have to parallel park your camper/boat). Not an ideal campground for families with little kids in terms of safety and the crowd it draws. There was a decent little swimming area and a great park just up the road. There is a city pool right next store that I wanted to check out but it wasn't open on weekends. A bit of a miss in my opinion by the city.Overall if you're a hard core salmon fisherman with an RV, this campground is perfectly positioned near the Brewster Pools and had a decent two slot boat launch. Just be prepared to hear diesel engines starting at 2:40am until late at night as the boat launch is never empty. Quite the line up. July 18 · Kyla Gunstone
- What a beautiful gem that has stayed out of the limelight. This is used a lot by sportsmen for fishing but for those that want to have fun on the water there's tons of places to play.I was there with a veterans organization and found the park to be extremely good. The only draw back I could see, and it took a bit to find it, is that the one area across the cove from the boat launch, needed to have the vault toilets open. Even with out the vault open it was a very short walk to the main restrooms.I might even take a guide service out of here for fishing in the near future. July 25 · J Bern
