Chula Vista DMV. Totally insane! 9 am appointment for a road test. When I checked in I was told I would have to reschedule because they had not received any of the paperwork.Between 9 am and 2 pm when I did finally get my driver's license reinstated I was told a number of verifiable lies.The person in charge of the computers where you fill out your application had a snitfit when, after verifying my paperwork was correct "discovered" I had already taken my road test and had not immediately informed her of this. She then said it would now take five or more days to process my paperwork. On asking why no one else had said that she clearly said, several times, "The drive instructor was supposed have told you that."As the day progressed I was able to ask the driver instructor, this. I did so while clearly pointing to the woman behind the desk. The drive instructor stated she'd she'd never heard of such a thing.After a number of calls, by me, to driver safety, each time I was clearly told by that specific DMV employee that 1. They were not allowed to speak to anyone on the other end of the phone, 2. I would still have to reschedule, each DMV employee then did in fact speak to the person on the other end of my phone. They were than able to magically produce the "missing" paperwork!!All this having occurred with employees, except for the safety instructor, that were all working right there at the Chula Vista DMV!!Now you know why it takes so long to get an appointment! The left hand not only has no clue as to what the right hand is doing all while directly in front of each other you, the taxpayers, are paying for this foolishness! Enjoy the rest of your day!
