Chehalis Tribe’s Lucky Eagle RV Park Introduce
For RV enthusiasts exploring the scenic byways and main thoroughfares of Washington State, the Chehalis Tribe’s Lucky Eagle RV Park presents an excellent, budget-conscious option for an overnight stay or a home base for wider regional exploration. Located just a short distance from the I-5 corridor, this park offers convenient access for travelers heading north toward Olympia and Tacoma, or south toward Portland, all while providing essential hookups for a comfortable stay.
Unlike some high-amenity resorts, the Lucky Eagle RV Park is known for its practicality and affordability. Its reputation among local RVers highlights its clean facilities, friendly service, and straightforward setup, making it an ideal choice for a quick getaway or a necessary stop on a longer journey. The park's primary appeal lies in its reliable utility offerings and its strong connection to the nearby Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel, which adds a layer of entertainment and convenience for guests.
Operated by the Chehalis Tribe, this RV park embodies a welcoming spirit for travelers. It is important to note that while some visitors appreciate the simplicity and low cost that results from having only a dump station on-site (and not full sewer hookups at every pedestal), the availability of water and electric service (30 and 50 amp) at the sites ensures a comfortable, modern camping experience.
Prospective guests should be aware that the Chehalis Tribe operates two types of RV parking in the area: the dedicated RV Park on Anderson Road and separate, more restricted RV parking spots located directly in the hotel parking lot, which are subject to different rules regarding slide-outs and vehicle length. The park on Anderson Road is the primary camping destination.
Location and Accessibility
The Chehalis Tribe’s Lucky Eagle RV Park is strategically situated at 18909 Anderson Rd SW, Oakville, WA 98568, USA. Its location is highly advantageous for travelers utilizing Interstate 5, the state's main artery. The park is easily accessible via Exit 88, following State Highway 12 west, making it an incredibly convenient stop without a long, complicated detour. This excellent proximity to I-5 positions it as a practical rest point for any Washington road trip.
The park sits near the Chehalis Reservation in the South Thurston County area, bridging the gap between the I-5 corridor and the beautiful, rural landscape that characterizes this part of Western Washington. Its location serves as a gateway to both the recreational opportunities of the Capitol State Forest and the historic areas of Chehalis and Centralia, all while being a stone's throw from the entertainment options of the Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel.
The entire facility is designed with accessibility in mind, offering a wheelchair-accessible entrance and wheelchair-accessible parking lot, ensuring that all guests can navigate the area easily. Furthermore, the local area is well-equipped with services; travelers often note the convenience of a nearby market and gas station, minimizing the need to drive far for essential supplies.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Inexpensive with lots to do in any direction. Great place as a home base for day trips. Dump station only but very inexpensive as a result.
March 30 · David MedlockLove staying here when we want a quick getaway. Not a fancy RV park but clean. They have water and electric (30 & 50 amp) at the sites and have a dump station at the entrance. Anytime you want to go to the casino, just call the hotel and they’ll send a shuttle to pick you up.
November 29 · Lynne SimpsonThe RV park is always well kept and looks very nice, about the same as when we first started coming here after it opened. Getting the discount rate via the hotel booking process makes this a great affordable overnight stop. The park itself is always quiet but between the roundabout on Hwy 12 and the local gas station/store across the street it gets a little noisy once in a while. Still a great overnight while traveling i5or 12
July 03 · Troy RussellThis rv park is located about 1/4 mile from the casino. No one on site. You call the casino when you arrive and tell them what space you are parking in. The road throughout the park is blacktop and all the pads are concrete. Everything was easy peasy for our entire stay. No dump at your site and no showers. Nonetheless it was a great place to stay. Rated it 4 stars as road noise from highway 12 was a bit off putting.
July 27 · Scott ByeThis is not a fancy park. No pools, club houses, or bathrooms. But it does have big wide spaces, paved spots, and it's quiet. I spent a month there and was very comfortable. There is a dump station and free shuttle service to the casino. Gas station across the street is convienent for snacks and cheap gas.
