Canyon View RV Park Introduce
For Utah residents and visitors traveling through the scenic Utah Valley, **Canyon View RV Park** in Spanish Fork provides a straightforward, convenient, and affordable spot to pause and recharge. Positioned on the eastern edge of Spanish Fork near the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon, this RV park is an excellent option for a brief stopover or as a basic staging area for exploring the natural beauty of the surrounding Wasatch Mountains and the extensive Spanish Fork River trail system.
Unlike a resort-style destination, Canyon View RV Park operates as a municipal facility, offering essential services in a no-frills setting. The primary focus is on practicality, providing the key hookups and amenities required for a comfortable night’s rest. Travelers appreciate the ease of access and the availability of crucial services like an RV dump station. The park is nestled adjacent to the larger Canyon View Park, which significantly enhances the stay by providing immediate access to extensive public recreational space. This proximity means RV guests can easily transition from their vehicle to outdoor activities like walking, biking, or utilizing the nearby city park's amenities, a major benefit for families and those traveling with pets.
The park accepts **Credit cards and Debit cards** for payment, making transactions quick and easy for travelers on the go. Furthermore, the commitment to accessibility is evident with a **Wheelchair accessible entrance** and **Wheelchair accessible parking lot**, ensuring that all members of the Utah community and traveling guests can easily utilize the facility. It is also a **Dogs allowed** location, catering to the many Utahns who travel with their beloved canine companions.
While the park offers excellent location and basic utility, potential visitors should set expectations according to the existing user feedback. Customers have noted that the park is essentially a well-equipped parking lot, and while it provides the necessary **RV electric hookup and RV water hookup**, it may lack the extensive resort features—such as hot showers, clubhouses, or paved sites—found at higher-priced private campgrounds. Reviews often mention that while the rate may seem steep for the basic setting, the value comes from the immediate availability of essential services and its convenient location right off the main road, making it perfect for a quick overnight stay, especially when other local campgrounds might be closed or full. The fact that it has a **dump site** available on-site is a significant convenience often highlighted by those in a pinch.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It's essentially a parking lot with some electrical hookups and a bathroom through a small trail. Good enough for a nights rest but $40 a night felt pretty steep considering $50 a night you can get hot water, a nice RV spot with electrical, sewage, hot showers in a gated park elsewhere. Appreciated the nights rest off the highway.
May 28 · Jessa BoyerVery easy spot to stay and sleep. At 40 bucks it's high. But when in a pinch you have a bathroom, electricity, and water hook up. Also has a dump site.
May 30 · Anthony ProulxIt works great if you need to stay a night or 2. It can get very hot there in the summer months. So make sure your RV has A/C. The area for your RVs is very close together, so that kind of sucks. But it does have power & water. We basically use it for when our daughter has softball tournaments. It's cheaper than a hotel. But it is NOT a campground.
May 06 · Raquel MowerNot a bad place to stay but it’s a smaller very tight rv park. Just have some good spotters. Be happy to stay here again. No issues
January 04 · Slow WalkerWe found this little park on a Google search. Overall, it's a nice one night stopover.Be advised that the spaces only accommodate trailers about 24 feet long and that's if you disconnect your tow vehicle. Our 40 foot 5th wheel was a bit difficult to park. The road was busy until after dark, and then it was very quiet. The pay station only takes cash or checks. We tried to find a walkable path from the rv camp to the park but weren't able to. The camp area and the park are about 30 feet apart in elevation, and the slope is dirt and covered with leaves. An area map would be helpful. We came in from I-15 from the south, and Google maps led us on a zig-zag path in the back way. Come in from 15 on 6.The city website is less than helpful, although I'm sure a phone call to the park dept. would've cured that.Edit: The walking path is adjacent to the entrance to the parking area.
